Anybody experiencing compatibility problems (3) Hi all you gimp users. I am wondering if you are experiencing problems with your images created in
GIMP as I am. We here is my story. I take pictures with a camera and upload them to my computer with
a the camera software. Nothing is changed yet. Then I go to that file location and open the image or
a copy of the image with GIMP. Then i edit it, add layers, and tweak various settings before saving
it to .XCF (native GIMP format). Then later I was to export it. I do so as JPEG or TIFF. The
problem is whatever I create/modify in GIMP, I seem to have trouble opening it ba....
Text Outline In Gimp
(1) Hello, When I first started using GIMP, it took me a while to figure it out, and I made a few
mistakes. Well, here's a tutorial so others won't! Although, you will need some VERY basic
knowledge of the gimp, ie placing text and choosing a colour. Anyway; 1) Create a new image. Any
size is ok. 2) Put in some text of your choice. Now, select the text, and using the text tool, click

art applications (14) I use Gimp 2.............on a IBook......I use to have alot of art applications.....in OS 9.0, but
in OSX I have not bought any yet, and I may not ever now that I found GIMP.......For basic artm and
photo editing it works great......I have not tested all the export options but for web work it seems

Photoshop Cs2 Vs. Gimp

full of features. Besides the simple common tools such as shrinking, cropping, filling,

Need feedback and some help .... (5) I don't know why, but these days, I've started taking a liking towards the gimp. Ever since
I installed gentoo on my system, I absolutely abhor booting into windows. In fact, I haven't
even logged into windows for the past 3 weeks. After getting Photoshop 6 running using wine in
Linux (the other versions wouldn't even install) and having a lot of stability issues with it

Gimp. Problem With Fonts
how can i add many many fonts? (4) I'm using Gimp for a few weeks. Yesterday I dowloaded some fonts... ok... many fonts
/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /> about 1000. I split them
into folders (about 150 in each one), and i tried to add them into my gimp. I seved about 400, maybe
500 fonts, and everything were ok. But when i add next patr of my fonts, gimp dont want to save
them, and after restart, i still have got those 400 fonts. Anyone knows why i can't add more
fonts?....
