i have Gmail, i really hate the stuff, it's like signing up for a marvelous 1 gig account and than BAM the day after you are hit with spam all the way, seemed like someone at google is chipping after hours.... therefore i went over to walla....same size no spam that really did the trick for me

If you have an obscure enough username, no one will spam you. However, if your username is, say, 5 characters or less, you've got a problem on your hands. And spam isn't that bad on Gmail. Like any other mail client, they put it in a seperate folder to distinguish between normal email and spam. Plus, you only get about 5 or so spam messages a day, unlike Yahoo where you get approximately 80 to several hundred.

That's right! I am very impressed with this features of Gmail. They sort all spamming content emails to the trash and automatically delete them after 15 days. They know more what mails are spams b/c google has their content management (which is used for ads), and I think they can figure out what content is spamming more exactly than Yahoo or other Gig guys

No problem with spam here either. I allso love the new atom feed feature. It lets me see whats in my inbox before I go to the website. If anybody wants an invite PM me youre email adress I have a couple left over.

I just got Gmail and I must say that I love it. The spam thing is great (no spam in my Inbox and it's been about 2 weeks), but I have to say my favorite feature is the ability to search for any content in a certain email. If I need a piece of info all I have to do is enter it into the search box at the top of the page, and I get it in seconds.

Guess what, there's a GMail spooler available from isnoop.net. For people who have a lot of invitations lying around you can send them to the GMail spooler and they will get sent to people requesting invites. Also, you can request an invite if you don't have one yet. This is one of the first times there have been excess invitations available.

i also have some invitations available... i don't give 'em to my friends because i know they prefer hotmail.. and they'll waste de accounts.. So, if you are interested, send me a PM, but be sure you're really going to use it... I gave my first 6 invitations away when i first got 'em.. i because i use the service regullary, they have given me more invitations.. The gmail service is excelent.. you can set your account on a mail software, usch as eudora or outlook, it aslo has the notifier, and the gmail drive (not oficial) but very VERY usefull

Hello guys, I have 5 gmail invites left pm me if you need a gmail ID. I really like gmail because: #1. It gives 1GB free storage. #2. It has a really cool search feature. #3. It cannot be hacked easily. #4. Google is trusted so gmail can be trusted as well. #5. A systematic anti spam thingy. When I had yahoo I used to get about 100 stupid junk mails, but with gmail I hardly get any. #6. Store messages forever(you dont need to delete messages).

There is, it automatically allows you to send HTML emails and also receive them. When you send it detects on its own that its is in HTML and when receiving them you click click on a button and it comes up with the HTML version.
