Full Phpbb Integration?

I've been searching for a fully integrated version of PHP-Nuke with PhpBB 3.*. There is a bridge on the PHP Nuke site, but I generally stray from bridges because I've had mostly mediocre/bad or mixed results with bridges, alot of login issues across platforms and little integration. So I was wondering, does anyone know of a full/real integration between the two?

Alright, I'm trying to install phpBB on a PostgreSQL (which is faster than MySQL since
Astahost's MySQL is already taxed as it is, and I want to use PostgreSQL so in case MySQL
crashes again, my phpBB would still be up). However, the only problem is that it complains that it
requires a UTF8 database and not an US ASCII/SQL ASCII, so is there a way that I can change it to
UTF8? Right now I don't have any privilege to do so, cPanel locked it. xboxrulz....

Ok this is a long one so get relaxed. Note: the software in this tutorial are mutil-platform tool

Generally speaking, when I write a script, it either utilizes the MySQL class of the parent system
(like Mambo or Joomla) or I use basic functions and snippets to perform the database queries I need.
I really like the Joomla database class as it allows you to simply pass a regular query string to
it and the data is returned without the need for extra work! The Invision Power Board (IPB)
database class which is what is used for this forum is kind of a pain to use since it wants the
query string in a non-MySQL standard format. Nonetheless, it does work and I could use i....

Windows Media Player Plays All Video In Full Screen

I have a problem with my windows media player. It plays all videos in full screen mode. The media
player does not show any menu bars etc when it starts playing video. hence I cannot reduce the size.
I have tried pressing Alt + enter looking through options like video size, zoom etc, but to no luck.
Even try uninstalling and reloading different version but in all case the problem persists. I have
used ver. 9, 10 11 (beta). All versions are giving problems. Any help is appreciated. ....

I have been running a site for couple of months that is powered by Drupal. And I like the way
Drupal handles everything. It is kind of lean and mean, when compared to the other CMS that I
checked out at OpenSourceCMS.com. But it has one down side that I must accept. It does not have a
decent forum. I am sure, if I say this over at Drupal.org, I would be staked and asked what feature

I have found (and used, to much delight) a tool to convert my phpBB database to an SMF database. The
results were amazing--I could literally give my users a new URL to use and the forum banter would
not skip a beat. From what little I've seen of SMF, I really like it. The feature set is much
more complete, and the default theme is XHTML and CSS valid to boot. And the board is fast-- very
fast. I see little reason to switch back to phpBB. However, my users are very familiar with phpBB.
The entire lifespan of my forums were conducted on phpBB. A migration would like....

I've gone to some IPB forums were it seems they allowed file attachment options, even music and

Hello SMFers. SMF looks really tempting.. and as I'm a bit fed up with phpBB I'm thinking
about changing forum system. Vbulletin would be my first pick but there's no way I'm paying
that much for a forum software. So SMF would be the way to go... However, I just spent and almost
entire day getting the new version of phpBB working with all the mods and imported the old
posts/users (needed to be done through phpmyadmin manually...). And I'm not going to go through
that kind of work again any time soon... So my question is, has anyone here gone from ....

I used Invision Power Board for the first time today. Its pretty complex and has more options than a

Hello, i'm a newbie in using phpBB and I still lack knowledge in mySQL database. How do I
transfer the datas(users,configs, all of them) contained in my current forum to another one in
phpBB? I hope someone can help, a short but detailed tutorial would be good. Example is, if I want
