www.789mb.com is a new free hosting provider. As I stated in the title they offer 15GB of space and 250GB of bandwith monthly.
QUOTE
The main features are the following:
* Free web hosting. Free extras. Zero Ads! * Free Web Hosting: 15GB disk space, 250GB Ultra-Quality bandwidth. * Features: PHP 5, MYSQL, FTP * 5 MYSQL Databases and 5 MYSQL Users! * 99.9% SLA Uptime Guarantee! * Domain/Subdomain: Host your own domain or choose a FREE sub-domain from one of our domains, like your-name.789Mb.com!
Some reasons to use this free service:
- My current free host is slow, down all the time or has no customer service - The last free host i used just dissapeared overnight, i have no idea where it went, but i dont think its comming back! - I lost my data when my last free host just decided to delete all its members - My host was overloaded and crashed, it could not handle the demand - I no longer want to keep switching free hosts, im desperate to find a reliable one - My last free host had ads or other revenue generating methods, and is just in it for the money. I want an ad free host! - The last free host i used was full of abusers/spammers destroying the service for my genunine use
I just register to 789mb.com and i notice that this host is very fast, i think i will use it as backup web and to test some developments i will make. The control panel is too much simple and offers few things, compared with Astahost i prefer the last one.
But, the huge space that offers is a big reason to use it.
I haven't tried this particular hosting service, but from what I've read I'm not surprised. With the notable exception of gmail and those that followed it, the majority of services that take a single appealing aspect of any given service type and push it to unprecedented proportions are often lacking in other significant ways and try to draw in attention and users/customers on the basis of the one stellar aspect. It wouldn't surprise me if a web host offering THAT much space/bandwidth either had some strings attached or was lacking in some noteworthy ways.
looks good i wont host my radio-fm on this until i see if it is good i will post results later on one thing he didnt say is if it is immedite activation. i qgree with Jeigh there must me catch but il find out wont i.
PHP Safe mode on.. Now, that sounds like a big big con to me. Cze, scripts is what most people use on high spec/tech hosts. And with the safe mode on, umm.. I'd much rather choose a host with 1GB space and 10GB bandwidth with safe mode off, rather than a host with 1TB space and 100TB bandwidth with safe mode on.
This Free Hosting Is Pretty Nice! 15GB Of Space And 250GB Monthly Bandwidth! This Is Almost Like Premium Web Hosting! Although PHP Safe Mode Is On. I Don't Like PHP Safe Mode On. Especially For Running Bulletin Boards. But A Good Thing I Like On Most Free Web Hosting Is 99.99% Up Time Or More. I Don't Know Though About This Host Because Usually Hosts With This Kind Of Hosting Specs Have Extremely Slow Loading Pages! Especially When It Comes To Bulletin Boards.
Then again they can earn a lot of money just off advertisement.
xboxrulz
Yup, but where do they put the ads? Lining their site with them wouldn't generate that much, and putting them in to people's sites would put me off of them in an instant.

Hello to all I'm looking for long time some free FTP hosting + software which I can use to map
that free host service and have mapped drive in my local computer. This is what I used till now:
1. ByetHost.com free ftp host (25MB) + WebDrive software for mapping. Webdrive is not so bad but
sometimes slow and hangs. I found alternative to it as Netdrive which is free software. The problem
is that it hangs a lot. 2. Other free web drive is folders.live.com - microsoft web drive which I
couldnt try yet because they dont allow new signups /rolleyes.gif" style="vertic....
My yearly subscription to csmedia hosting has ran out and so I set about the internet looking for an
alternative. Although cs media are fine at hosting I wondered if free hosting is the way to go. So
this is my first post here so let me say hi... "Hi" Can astahost transfer my original domain and how
good a hoster is it? Thanks guys steve....
After changing web hosts a couple times I found http://www.hostingbest.com . If you don't mind
using PHP 4 then they're an excellent host. They use cPanelX, mySQL, Postgresql, AwStats, &
make managing subdomains easy. Over the last two years of service with them they've had little
to no downtime and I've always had a fast load time. I found them by emailing a about twenty
hosts with questions I had about their services and hostingbest responded quickly (same day, I
think) to my email. I've had consistently good customer service over the last two....
ttp://www.serverheaven.net is no more providing free hosting. Free hosted people have to upgrade to
paid hosting, or loose their site. Here below is the announcement mail. QUOTE IMPORTANT

PERMANENTLY TERMINATED AFTER 5 DAYS OF THIS NOTICE. Dear Hosting Client, Welcome to 2007! We wish

When I was a newbie at finding website hosts, I decided to try Bravehost. After all, it did look
promising, right? Wrong! When I registered, everything was extremely hard to navigate, their FAQ
wasn't helpful at all, I got no support whatsoever for some odd reason, and when I
unsubscribed from their newsletter, I still kept getting it! I must have unsubscribed like, three
times now! Eventually, I got fed up with it and blocked their address from my e-mail account, and
yet it still manages to bypass my spam and blocked e-mail addresses filter, every single tim....
I was surfing the web, checking out some good host, when I bumped into Terrahost . I know there are
many hosts that ask for a lot of money for their services, but this one has really shocked me. The
plans this host offers are pathetic, whereas the prices are extremelly high. Here's what I
mean: QUOTE * 5Mb Web space * 2,000Mb transfer per month * Domain name or sub
domain name * FTP Access * 1 mail account @yourdomain.com $12.95/Month - $30 Setup
$155/Year - $30 Setup Source: http://terrahost.com/hosting.html That's the worst pa....
This is a review of a paid webhost. I used their service for over 5 months. Globat (or Glob@t) is
a host that I used when I developed my second site. I used their $9.95 package which currently
provides 4.1TB of annual bandwidth, 15,000MB storage, and 350GB monthly transfer. When I signed on
with them that wasn't the deal they offered, but I'm not posting this because there's a
problem with the quality of their service. My site stayed up most of the time, 3 times that I can
account for my site was down for a few hours because of server problems their cust....
Heya all, I would like to share with you all a good place to host some pictures. PhotoBucket

or some other blogger and you wanna host images, thats the best place to go, they're really nice

website for hosting images. Enjoy.....
I just felt like mentioning ImageShack, seeing as they're so good! http://www.imageshack.us
For those of you who haven't seen a service like this before, ImageShack let you upload pictures
from your computer and host them for you, for an unlimited amount of time, for any reason (except
for pornography). Even though Astahost provide excellent hosting, it can be a bit tiresome, logging
in to cPanel and finding (or creating) a folder to host a couple of images. This is why Image Shack
is so useful - it's quick and effecient. Although thier homepage is a bit c....

I run a fan site. I had been using hostultra as my host and everything was going nicely. The site
started to get big so I checked around for a better free host, if that was possible. I found a site
called f2g.net hosting. They offered 15Mb space, no forced ads, you.f2g.net subdomain, Server Side
Includes (SSI), catch-all e-mail, unlimited mail aliasses, FTP and browser upload and statistics and
all for free. I joined emediately. After less than a month of hosting it all....
Honestly, if you want to be screwed over time and again, ezboard is the way to go. The site got
hacked, bugs are walking all over the place and the staff are a bunch of lazy people. If you ask the
ezboard Staff a question, they'll be like "too F&$$ing bad, CASE CLOSED." They really do give
such answers, and if you don't believe me then look at what some people had to say:

fradulent ezboard is, you're too late. Visit: http://www.ezboardsucks.net In conclusion, ....

web space was sufficient offering 50 megs to free users wanting to use a subdomain , had no ads

When I discovered Astahost I thought I had found a very unique place for my hosting needs. Not only
was the concept a cool one, but the prices for paid hosting was low. That was when I first
discovered the site. The old saying that "if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is",
definately holds true here. On Saturday, August 13 (yesterday), my credits were suddenly reduced
from 31 to 13 for no apparent reason. I also lost use of my domain for most of the afternoon and
early evening as well as my FTP access. This is the second time in the one week period I ha....
I have run the gamut in internet hosting, from Angelfire and Geocities when I first started, to
hostultra and fateback. At one point, I thought I had it made with web1000.com ...no popups,
unlimited space, and not very much down time. However, I soon found out that only people in the US
and Canada could access their servers. (Don't ask me why...I don't know.) And, since my
fansites are rather international in outreach, I was basically cutting off 75% of my fanbase for
savings. So, all in all, it was a great host (mind you, this was about 2 years ago, so bea....
