That is amazing... Actually sounds too good to be true. Have you or anyone else used this service? And how fast is it and is there much downtime? The usage policies page mjentions that you may not use freesql.org database for a forums system, which is understandable as those are quite a resource hogs.

Yes, its amzing to have such a site that too for FREE, but one thing can't we have updated (Which support INNODB and Procedures) Version of MySql, because present version of MySql doesn't support FK Concept and Procedures. This is great news really but, how can we be sure that our data are safe? I mean, the owner of the site basically can access all of the DBs that are registered and hosted there, right? Don't get me wrong, I love services like this (free  ). I'm just scared that my site might get hijacked again  . Happened to me once... Hope it won't happen again. Thanks for the great link mate. ive been looking around for free hosts and most of them dont even have php let alone have my sql databases. This is amazing that we are able to get this for free. cant wait to get mine

Freesql.org is a good service but: the servers are too loaded, sometimes unreacheable the DBs are frequently deleted but is a free service and it's enough

There is also free database hosting at: http://free-mysql.bizhostnet.com/I found it's ad in Google AdSense. I've never used them, just stumbled on it.

If you will make PHP/MYSQL sites, you will bestly need an LocalHost server. Because when you wanna try your scripts you 'll need to upload. Pieter

(0) HI, I've hit the grain while trying to import file to mysql database - I need to enable file
permissions of the database user but this seems not possible with most of the hosting providers.
The problem is to set file_priv of the database user to "Y" . This is done in the "user" table of

Mysql Backup With Another Address?
(4) I just got my site hacked!! (don't worry because it is not on astahost) Actually it is a

MySQL, Multiple Tables

MySQL - Trouble With Bulk Insert Statements
(3) I'm trying to insert about 500 rows into mysql, but I keep getting errors. If I copy and paste
too many (about 50) insert statements at a time I get errors sometimes. I sometimes even get errors
but then the row is skipped so I don't know there was an error (I'm using linux and SSH).
What's the best way to get my insert statements to put the data in MySQL? Is there anyway that I
