BuffaloHelp told me about AEF in the shoutbox a while ago now so i thought id download it and try it
out. If you want to see it, ive uploaded it here . its only new i think but its one of the best
free forums ive seen. i thought phpbb3 was the best you could possibly get for free but i think this
just proved me wrong. i think the AEF development team have done really well. i recommend this if
you want a good free forum! i also found another nice thing, down the bottom it has these buttons
that like get bigger when u go over them, its so cool, lol. the default desig...

can anyone tell me how do i add a feature to add sub-forums to phpbb forums? i also want cash mod
to work on it.. i tried categories hierarchy but it clashed with cash mod... doesnt work... can u
ppl suggest something for this?...

Hi friends, I am creating a forum using ASP and SQL Server. For this we need a
WYSIWYG Html text box ( You can say it Rich Text Editor ). It should be like the one used in
Vbulletin forums for posting/replying to a topic not the one used in IPB which use BBCode. I have
two options either getting the control make by third party or creating it by scratch. I think the
second option is bettter but I have less time so it will be better if I can get some help from

Well, today Ir elised more than ever that my beloved SMF is still the best. Today I was doing some
tests of the new ->SMF convertors, which are amazing in their selfs, first all you need to specify
it the old forum location and the new location, and it will find the database settings and
everything by itself, once its got the data it emptys the SMF forum of its data and then moves the
old data over. If the server load is going to be too large, it does it in small chunks, I think its
500 messages/members/stuff at a time, so large forums will take a while, but the server ...

I need a forum in the website, and I want to know wich one do you guys think is the best one. I vote
for InvisionPowerBoard. Free, easy, nice looking, customizable... Even though phpBB is also nice,
but I don't know... I preffer Invision....

Which forum system would you say had the best skinning options and easiness. I know from expeirience
that the SMF theme engine is very unique and easy to use. In fact its very close to plain HTML. I
