Lately I have enjoyed painting with the Flash-based Graffiti application on Facebook. Sometimes I think it is fun to see what I can do with the restrictions of a simple little paint program. The only real special feature that the application has is the ability to adjust the opacity of your paint. Anyway, below are some of the images I have produced with it. If anyone else has used it, I would love to see what you have made. Also the application has a somewhat new feature that allows people to play back the drawing line-by-line. I have uploaded a few of these to youtube. Originally I had done this because of friend of mine couldn't view it in her browser and the one I had made told a story through all of the layers of the drawing. Here are the replays on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dkpZizwM_DEhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=0vQaYFRDFzIhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=Mcd55QcLx6U

Ah. I know that face book application too. I added it and am fiddling around with it. But some time back, I stumbled across Sketchcast.com. It is quite rudimentary and I have been hooked. The best part is, it plays back the process of sketching. I have been making a lot many of these sketchcasts (more like artcasts), and atleast it keeps me in practice during heavy work days at my job. Here are some (plugs) sketchcasts I made: http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-radioactive-riddickhttp://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-darth-vaderhttp://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-princess-leia-organahttp://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-chewbaccahttp://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-fat-yoda

I did one yesterday - how can I check the playback functionality? And another one - do they let us embed it elsewhere like Sketchcast lets us? If that be the case, then I am totally shifting to Grafitti.

If you click on one of the graffiti images on someones profile it brings you to a page where you can see it larger. On that page there shouldl be a button (I think it is green} titled "Replay". Click it and it will take you to the replay. I don't really use IE, but it seems that some of my friends have had problems using the replay on Internet Explorer. The replay function was added maybe a month ago, so any of the images made prior to that will not have a replay. I haven't tinkered with it too much, but it doesn't look like they want you to embed it on other sites.

How Did Facebook Become Facebook?
(3) This would be an interesting concept to discuss about, I want to know how major sites became the
sites that they are today. By major sites, I mean sites like Google, YouTube, Yahoo!, Facebook
and Myspace. More commercial sites such as eBay and Microsoft can also be included, but I'm
mainly looking at social-networking and Web 2.0 things. Wikimedia is a library of information,
media, quotes, dictionaries, etc, etc which makes it so popular due to the fact of what it is.

What Programs To I Need To Setup To Rip And Encode Video From My Camcorder?
DV / Digital Camcorder Encoding (1) The basic libraries you'll want are libdv (DV-format decoding library),
libraw1394(IEEE-1394/firewire hardware access library), and libavc1394 (AVC control library, so you
can play and pause your camera via computer control). Please note that many broken libraw1394
packages do not properly setup the /dev/raw1394 device. If you encounter problems when running
dvgrab, kino, or other DV capturing programs regarding the raw1394 interface, try the following
commands to create the /dev/raw1394 device: Code: # /bin/mknod -m 600 /dev/raw1394 c 171 0 #

Faq. Knowing How Digital Camera Lenses Work
(4) This are the articles I found in yahoo.com When shopping for a digital camera, people often
overlook the camera lens. Serving as your camera's "eye," the lens determines what your camera
can see - and how well that view is transmitted to the CCD (charge-coupled device) or CMOS
(complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) chip for recording. The following sections explain the
basics of how digital camera lenses work. Focal length Different lenses have different focal
lengths. On a digital camera, focal length measures the distance between the lens and the image
sensor,....

this is a really, really powerful technology that is very pervasive in many programming as well as

time and effort to learn regular expressions, they are power tools that are going to open for you a

Getting The Most Out Of Canon Digital Rebel XT?
(1) Not too long ago I bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT. It was my first SLR camera and I've been
really pleased with what I've managed to do with it so far. I have the basic 18-55mm lens that
came in the box and a very basic 75-300mm lens that I bought later on. I was wondering what to do I
have to do (hardware wise) to take my photography to the next level? I was wondering about maybe
experimenting with some filters. Heard polarizers were good. Also I was thinking about buying an
