| | Hi. Do you know of any way to send an e-mail to SMS for free? Btw, my telco does not provide Email to SMS functionality. Or are there other ways to programmatically send an SMS to someone for free? Besides that, I have several questions regarding the SMS technology. 1. There are a lot of free SMS sending websites out there. Do they just rely on the respective telco's Email to SMS functionality? If not, then how can it be free? 2. How does an international SMS transfer happens? Example would be someone sending an SMS from US to UK. I know a little about the SMSC and SMS gateway, but does the whole system operates like the internet? Any help would be appreciated. And I am in no rush for answers.
