I wondered what software is there to rip dvd movies onto your computer in divx or XviD format? theres are lots around and i dont seems to know which one is the best. i want the ones that give the best quality like the movies that can be downloaded from p2ps.

are you sure it is illegal? what about music-dvds? can't i put them on my computer, if i want to listen to it? i wouldn't know what would be illegal in ripping dvd's to your computer, if you won't share them. wouldnt dvd-ripping programs be illegal too then? then they couldnt even exist, but they do... anyway, i won't risk a warn for this

ah, that's better well, that makes it possible for me to recommend some rippers, too bad i don't know any, and i don't think i'm much better in googling than you are. i someone else can help you, and you won't use it for illegal purposes
it's an excellent and easy tutorial. they'll tell you to download dvd decryptor and how to adjust the settings (don't forget this!!!) this will put a copy of your dvd on you harddrive, uncompressed. then with autogk, open the dir where you put the copy and it'll compress it to xvid or divx, as you like. for divx, you need the official divx codec though. xvid is better anyways.
Hi, my best experience to backup dvd´s is with this nice freeware programm dvdshrink. It gives you the options to get rid of non needed languages and other not needed features. Best of all it does copy an entire dvd to a single layer dvd. With an compression ratio of about 60% you don´t see any difference in picture and soundquality.
Hi all, I am looking for some software (free would be good) that can act like a mixer for my
computer. What I mean by this is that i want to be able to turn different programs up and down
without changing the master volume. Something like a new vista sound mixer but for earlier versions

I'm in Australia so I need something that outputs to PAL and hopefully have the movie come out
the same as it went in. I have a NERO one as apart of my Nero burning package but often closes due
to annoying errors much like alot of software I have tried, (something preferably simple to use
would be nice as my younger autistic brother will need to use it also). It's mostly going to be

How can I convert an avi file encoded with RM codecs (real media) to a DivX avi file ? I would like
to be able to read it on a stand-alone avi reader. Virtualdub says "cannot determine file type" and

I found nero to be pretty good for burning disks. It's easy to find the type of cd your going to
burn in its little StartSmart directory. As for cd ripping, i'm still searching /unsure.gif"

point, because it allows you to rip into mp3"pro" format for 30 songs or so. After that you have to
rip it to wma, and i find it annoying when i have to go and convert the songs to mp3.....
what do you guys think is the best media center software i already know media portal and windows
media center edition 2005. i know windows MCE is more stable, but the best of media portal is that
it's open source, everybody can make additional things for it. what software do you guys use,
and why? i personally use media portal, it's freeware....

I am an amateur filmmaker, and I desperately need a video editing program that can reverse video. I
have tried using Fade to Black, which can reverse video, but when I mix down to an .avi, the file is
glitchy and I lose a lot of frames. Does anyone know of any software that can reverse video but

now, i have some RM files. the file name look like this: V100.rm V101.rm V102.rm V103.rm ... I
wanna merge those RM files into one big RM file. V101 apend to V100. Then V101, then V102..... I
did try Readl Editor which come with Helix Producer Plus 9. However, the perfroments become slower
and slower after 10 or 20 files were merged. I have about 40 RM files. It took huge amout of time
to finish the task. Is there any other softwares or methods can task like that quickly???....

is there any good viriable bit rate mp3 ripper around. im having trouble finding them. there so many
around but so many are fake which are not variable! i just want to rip some tracks from a album onto
my pc and listen to them from my hardrive instead of changin cds back and forth for the correct
tracks to listen to. when on the hard drive with a couple of clicks I can listen to them which
