ContextWeb
The new tough Competitor of Google Adsense. Also, known as the best Alternative for Google Adsense:: PROGRAM TYPE ::PAY PER CLICK ( CPC ) :: PAY PER CLICK PROGRAM COMMENTS ::One of the newest Competitors of Google Adsense with a very strong background and financial support. ContextWeb provides high-precision, real-time contextual advertising solutions guaranteed to maximize the results and impact of online advertising by getting advertisers closer to motivated customers with greater accuracy and speed. :: PAY PER CLICK PROGRAM TECHNOLOGY ::ContextAd’s R.O.C.K. Methodology ContextAd is the only technology in the industry that employs the R.O.C.K. methodology to deliver relevant advertisements on dynamically changing content. Then it matches that definition to the proper keywords and category and delivers only those ads that are the most relevant to the user. :: COMPANY BACKGROUND ::ContextWeb, Inc. is a provider of technology platforms that enable the delivery of contextually relevant information and services to users. ContextWeb is backed by a group of major venture capital funds led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and its affiliates, DFJ Gotham and DFJ New England. :: PROS ::Better Click through rates Channel facity not yet available. Cost Per Click is higher than other networks ( in most cases ) Relevant ads. The ads are not annoying like others. Very much relevant. :: CONS ::[+] Very very strict rules. [+] You will lose your funds if you cannot meet the minimum payout for a month. i.e. $50 [+] Support is better than Adsense, which does not appear to be automated replies. [+] You lose all your cash if your account is disabled. [+] 2 minute Cap limit for Impressions. [+] 2 Hour Cap limit for Clicks. :: PAYMENT TERM ::NET 30 :: PAYMENT METHOD ::Check :: PUBLISHER CRITERIA ::[+] Clean and professionally designed. [+] Free of nudity, pornography, and/or adult content. [+] Not a personal homepage or a free hosted web page. [+] Any publisher with a good website and with content can signup. [+] The $50 minimum pay limit automatically filters all the small sites. Because they wont be having much chance if for getting paid, if they fail this limit. :: AD NETWORK CONTACT DETAILS ::QUOTE Customer Service: clientservices@contextweb.com

Yes, We have implemented contextweb advertising on our lofi pages. Even though we get lot of clicks, but the Average Rate per click is not soo attractive. However, it gives a very high CPM rate :-)

SORRY! FOR SOME REASONS... WE CANNOT RECOMMEND CONTEXTWEB. WE GOT A MAIL FROM CONTEXTWEB SAYING THAT OUR PAGES ARE NOT CONTENT RICH AND SOME OTHER STUPID REASONS WHICH REALLY HAVE NO MEANING. BECAUSE, THEY ARE CHECKING THE SITES XISTO.COM FOR VALIDATION. THE WORST PART IS, CONTEXTWEB SAYS WE ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR THEIR PROGRAM AFTER THEIR ADS ARE DELIVERED FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. GO WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

*Low Whistle* 50 bucks a month? I don't think I could make that with a small site. Thanks for your review, I shall go along and test with other ad programs. Lol I hope one day someone will make a perfect Ad program which has no restrictions and no stupid Bot Responses.

not content rich...excuse me there is a lot of content here. Excellent tutorial on PHP, HTML, etc... Also lots of support for existing members and new members alike. I think they need to re-evaluate their system and the people that work for em. Since I'm sure they have really made a bad decision in their treatment of the Xisto family. After all if they treat our Hosts that way I for one will not be recommending them to anyone I know and who knows, other then myself, how many web designers that I know... Oh well thats just my opinion...

ContextWeb was promising. However, they were not upto their word. When I signed up, it said, If by may or some month, we managed to have more than $100, then we would get $50 free. This was their marketting offer. No doubt, being such a big site and putting their ads on all the forums, we did manage to get that amount. However, when we finally recived their payments, no where they mentioned about the bonus value. Besides, their email was really stupid. I put their ads on LOFI pages, which has only and only content. May be said, our forums are so vast dealing with so many topics, that they dont have enough ads to show on our site. Anyway, ContextWeb Rules are very very Strict. ContextWeb's TOS, has something like this... QUOTE If you fail to make $50 a month, then you lose all the amount you have in your account for that month.
They are simply swindling people there. And there are many other rules as harsh as the above one. However, One thing is clear. They are not targetting small websites. Instead of ContextWeb, I would recommend Google Adsense. Unlike, ContextWeb, they do also have a rule for monthly payout of $100, but if you fail to make it, it is transfered to the next consecutive month. Anyway, there is simply no comparision between Google Adsense and ContextWeb. Also, the RATE per CLICK of CONTEXTWEB is filthy LOW! Its nothing compared to Google Adsense. ContextWeb is better than other pay per click companies like bidvertiser or clicksor.. (But still the harsh payment rules need to be kept in mind). I hope this information helps. If you are thrown out of Google for some reason, and want to find a CPC Advertising Company, then you can go with ContextWeb. Else, They are not recommended. Thanks.

Future Of Pay Per Click Programs- Your Views
(4) There is a rumor in the internet community that pay per click programs ( like Google Adsense) may
not survive in future primarily because of the following two reasons: 1. Misuse of such programs by
the webmasters. 2. Gradually increasing bidding rates due to increased competition. However,
Yahoo has also joined the race and has launched a program like Google Adsense . You can check it
here: Yahoo! Publisher Network I have seen a website displaying Yahoo ads ( “ads by Yahoo”). The
program, launched by Yahoo! for the publishers, is in its BETA form. But you can still a....

Ads-to-go: Online Advertising Program
Anybody heard of them? (0) I think they're quite great /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle'
alt='smile.gif' /> Adstogo lets you choose exactly which ads you would like to run, and you get a
preview of the ads if you want. However, their stats reports aren't that great (but good enough
for me), and you don't really get a lot of ads shown... (But they even count impressions for
their default ads!) Basically, to get banner ads to show, you have to have somebody willing to
advertise on your site. Otherwise you just get a couple of ads that would be willing to advertise o....

Pay Per Click Advertising
CPC : Cost per click (2) PAY PER CLICK Pay Per Click (PPC) programs pay you on the basis of the number of clicks you earn
through your ads. They are only concerned about the clicks and the no. of times you show the ads
dont matter. Also, any purchases or Actions generating through those ads will not be counted either.
Therefore, PPC advertising/ CPC advertising is : ADVERTISERS : A bit expensive for Advertisers
compared to Pay Per impression but its more reliable as they are paying only for clicks generated.
PUBLISHERS : Good for Publishers as CPC ads pay more per click. However, publishe....
