| | This is just a formal request, in case the termination script doesn't work, but unfortunately I no longer am able to keep my account alive, and there's no point in keeping the disk space anymore. Since moving to a new job I can't seem to find the time to post with both the volume + quality needed to keep my hosting active.
Just wanted to say thanks, though, starting back when astahost had, i think, 100MB for the package #2 and then steadily increasing, it's always been the best free webhost around and only once did i experience any downtime, when the servers were being upgraded.
Still will continue to be a part of the community and add my two cents whenever I do get online.

Astahost is an excellent host, but unfortunately I do not have the time to post. I've tried to terminate the account, but I always recieve an error message that reads "You are not authorized to view this page." Please help. Regards, inbetween

he was terminating his hosting account. your not hosted. if you dont want to be here then just... leave, dont come on.

I think the reason why its so hard to get hosting here at Astahost is because of its technical
nature. While many of us who haven't got hosting yet (me included) know a fair bit about
Computers and other technical aspects there isn't much need to share it here, since the
auidience is made up mainly of people with the same amount of knowledge or more. Most of the

Well, after having been a member of a number of different free hosting companies (as well as an
admin on one, and a support person on another), I have found a number of things. First of all, the
way that astahost does the request process, isn't as professional as some of the other hosting
companies. For example, the hosting company I had before astahost, used to use something called the

Hosting Credits And More

The other day i was thinking about astahost and was frustrated at not being able to do more on the
forum. But i was not very bothered...i had enough credits to my name. I just did a sort of check on
my hosting credits and the way they were "spent" Hosting credits when applied fo starter package:
11 Credits deducted :10 Credits when i applied for the default package : 34 Credits Deducted
:32 Credits after upgrade : 2 Now i have applied for a domain change : 10 credits So total
credits i spent in getting a starter package -> Default Package -> Domain Change ...

hey, i was looking at the tutorial section, and noticed that tutorials contribute a lot more to the
forum. if you look at the reactions, most tutorials are greatly appreciated. i'm not sure if it
would be a good idea to give tutorials more hosting credits, considering there might be even more
spammers - copy&paste even now happens too much, and i'm not doing it for me, either, i only
