| | Okay, I've been looking all over the web, and even tried googling it (without much help) and the majority of the templates I can find seem to be geared more towards blogger...I'm sure there's a way to work around it, but I have a feeling it would be more trouble than it would be worth. So far, the only website I've found with LJ templates is createblog.com. Does anyone know of any other ones? Ones that I wouldn't necessarily have to pay for? (I have a paid livejournal account, so I can pretty much use any kind of layout.) |

well, if you're paying for livejournal...................... but what about making your own? but if you don't know how...well, i'm not really sure how livejournal works but if they allow for anything, then just go anywhere. i heard xanga has sites that give out codes for layouts, so you can use those and alter it a bit to fit livejournal.

Web Design: Templates Or Start From Scratch?
Your opinions (28) Just want to start something here: Do you prefer to use website templates or make one from scratch?
Personally i use templates, i don't have the time and skills to make a whole website design.
One of the templates i was using a week ago had used frontpage's layer feature and wasn't
displaying properly so i had to rebuild the whole template, using the original images. Really, the
part that i don't have time for is the images, i am o.k at photoshop but not too good to make
visually pleasing web images for my site. What are your opinions on this?....

Need Help Redesigning Templates
(10) ok, i just bought a professtional pre-designed template for a web site i plann to put up. The
problem im having is how to edit the text and graphics. THey gave me a photopshop file and html
file. I edited the photosop file using photosop 7.0, saved the file, but the html version wont
change, can any body help me solve this problem? ** NEWBIE....

Templates in HTML
(5) Hello All, I am very new to this site, and even to web development. I was given a task to make a
site using html(and anything I am intrested in). This site would have a common template along all
the pages in it. Now what I want is, Is there any way to define a template using HTML. If yes how?
If no, what is the other easiest option for it. I dont like to code the sanme stuff in all the
pages. Is there any way of data reusability. I thought of some other way, like making a page with
the template(that continues through all the pages in site) and calling that page in ....
