uh... isn't that why you're here? You wanted free hosting with MySQL and Server side scripting.... Astahost is what you want... right?

yes, but I have site and it is site of my class and they will not remember astahost (in Polish it doesn't mean anything. Płock is our city  ) Of course I am here to get this host, but it will be my personal (for my site) host, and subdomain in astahost suits me so, for that host I need MySQL host (you can see, that there is place for forum and galery) and to install phpBB (I think it is good) and 4images galery I need database that serwer is in Krakow in Poland, but the admin don't want to give me mysql (I think, that he don't know how to configure it, so users could have acces to just one database...)

Why don't you just put up your new astahost account and then use an html or .htaccess line of code that redirects your users from you present site http://lwj88c.plock.org.pl to lets say http://lwj88c.plock.astahost.com Your users would never know that they are not at your existing site unless they look at the address bar, but they wouldn't have to remember anything and you could once they are on your page tell them to bookmarj or make your home page with astahost a new favorite or bookmark or even replace the bookmark or favorite.

hmm... at plock.org.pl I have 100Mb, and I had to talk with admin, to gave me some space I was searching for good host with good subdomain for few monts, and for free, and I wrote to him few weeks ago, and it is a good stable serwer (for free) @ Houdini => plock's admin will be mad, and he will delete my account when I will do something like this this account, which I want to create will be for me, or for my dad's website - I don't know yet...

OK, so, you need a free hosting for your polish site, on a web server having php and mysql. And you need this site to have a polish name, ending with plock.org, like www.myname.plock.org. I see only a single way to do that. Find somebody who will give you a free domain name (I heard that you can find one for 2 dollars, maybe if you ask a lot of people you will get two dollars). So, you wil have a polish domain, let's say it's named marcin.plock.org. Then, you ask astahost to host your site, and your collegues will connect to htpp://www.marcin.plock.org and they will be hosted by astahost without knowing it, and everybody will be satisfied.

You can use a databse here at asta from your Polish server. You just need to set the Polish server's address as an allowed host in mySQL setting in cPanel. Only problem is that it might end up being a bit slow, with the webserver and sql-server physically so far away from each other. At least you should try to minimize the database traffic.

Free MySql database? Well, before I had Asta Hosting, and I was too cheap to pay for a host, I got free MySql databases all the time. Since I wanted PHPBB, PHPNuke, etc, I needed a database, www.freesql.org Go there, excellent free MySql databases, as many as you want, I shouls warn you though, the database quality is not as good as somethign like Asta's databases, when ever I got a free MySql database from there, it crashed, not right away, but after over 100 users registered at my forums. I don't think they can hold too much information, so it will be good for you as long as your forums or whatever you need the database for is not too big.

But, still, your best option is to post, build up those hosting credits here at AstaHost, when you get to 30 posts, apply for an account, with AstaHost, you get incredibly great featured for free, especially MySql databases, all you need! You get unlimited MySql databases, and they are good quality too! I am only using three right now, but they seem very good, with free MySql hosting at the sites listed above, crash very easily and sometimes your database has to be very small, here the databases are great, so sign up and post, no spamming though!

Mysql And User File_priv
(0) HI, I've hit the grain while trying to import file to mysql database - I need to enable file
permissions of the database user but this seems not possible with most of the hosting providers.
The problem is to set file_priv of the database user to "Y" . This is done in the "user" table of

Mysql Backup With Another Address?
(4) I just got my site hacked!! (don't worry because it is not on astahost) Actually it is a

MySQL, Multiple Tables

Error In Installing MySQL Server
MySQL server cannot be started (7) I try to upgrade my MySQL server from 4.018 to 4.1.10a. Firstly, I downloaded mysql-4.1.10a (not the
essential one) for win XP Then I install the new version after the old version was uninstalled.
After the installation process, Instance Configurator comes up to help for the configuration. But an
error occured when it try to start the MySQL service. Error messageis "cannot create windows
service for MySQL. Error:0" So my MySQL server cannot be started. It is running win XP on my

MySQL - Trouble With Bulk Insert Statements
(3) I'm trying to insert about 500 rows into mysql, but I keep getting errors. If I copy and paste
too many (about 50) insert statements at a time I get errors sometimes. I sometimes even get errors
but then the row is skipped so I don't know there was an error (I'm using linux and SSH).
What's the best way to get my insert statements to put the data in MySQL? Is there anyway that I
