| | Call of Duty 4 has come a long way since its Call of Duty roots. With an amazing new engine, it surely beats their predecessors who used the id Tech engines. However, it still wouldn't kill Infinity War to use the id Tech 4 engine w/ MegaTexture.
However, this is my rating for the X360 version:
Gameplay: 9.5/10
A/V: 9.5/10
AI: 8/10
Multiplayer: 9.5/10 (XBL)
The only downside to this game is that you can't drive vehicles on multiplayer, else it's perfect!

Halo Recon And Halo Wars
(1) I've been wondering about this for quite a while. Why have they been developing Halo 3: Recon
when they haven't even created Halo Wars? I think it's because of the fact most Halo lovers
don't like RTS and want another FPS. What do you guys think?....
Far Cry 2 Review
They should call it "Grand Theft Auto: Africa" ^.^ (7) Far Cry 2.... I'd heard it was coming out, but never really followed it unless they had a video
preview on ActionTrip... Well I was at Best Buy with my girlfriend and saw it, and did a quick
search at the Verizon kiosk they had in there (connected to the internet) and saw it was getting
really good reviews, so I picked it up. Never buy a game based on the reviews on Best Buy's

S.t.a.l.k.e.r. Clear Sky
First 10 minutes impressions: Review to come (3) Well I just picked up Clear Sky today and got it all installed, and downloaded the latest patch
(because they just can't seem to figure it out that they should release games that have been

alt="mad.gif" /> ) The first Stalker game had major slowdown issues, and needed extensive tweaking
and mods to get working, but eventually, the game did kick ass. The graphics are sweet. But for
some reason, it's like we're starting from ground zero here with Clear Sky. I upgraded....
Call Of Duty 4
Also CoD4 vs Battlefield 2 (16) Well I picked up Call of Duty 4 on a whim on Sunday since I heard it was a pretty good game, though
I had not formally researched reviews and whatnot... I beat the Campaign mode Tuesday, and I would
have beaten it sooner if I hadn't gotten stuck on one of the later levels... Here we go:
Graphically, the game is beautiful. On par with most games nowadays. The character models are well

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (wii)
Review, plus a mini-review of the Wii Zappers (5) Well, I picked up Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii yesterday, and I must have
about 11 hours of gameplay already in on it, and I still have quite a bit to unlock. Here's my

PS1 version (though didn't beat it because I couldn't stand the voice acting and camera

(1) This is my personal review of Call of Duty 4... Graphics: Very high quality + great FPS --For full
quality graphics you definately need a good video card. Gameplay: Very realistic, therefore less

Crysis Review
The Good, the Bad, and the WTF (8) You know what my biggest pet peeve is... game developers moving to this "episodic" gaming phase. The
first game I can think of that I purchased that purposely left the ending unresolved was Half-Life
2. Ever since Half-Life 2, it seems like every game I've purchased has had a crappy or
unfinished "cliffhanger" ending. I spend $50 + tax on a game, and I spend a good number of hours of

Time Shift
Demo Review (2) I just finished playing the demo for the refurbished fps "Time Shift." I say refurbished because
they were going to release it last year, but ended up doing the thing all over again because people
didn't like the graphics. I had originally played the first demo of Time Shift last year, and
didn't think it was much of anything special. I have an idea for a time travel game that would
totally blow everyone else's out of the water but lack the programming knowledge and time to
make it (though I did make a demo in Qbasic around 1998 or so using boxes and circles ....

Bioshock Review
Oh glory of glories :) (4) Well, it only took me about $1100, but I finally managed to upgrade my new computer so that I could

F.e.a.r Gold
Review (2) I know I'm a little late on this, but I finally got around to buying F.E.A.R. Gold from Best Buy
a couple days ago. This one comes packaged with the director's edition and the expansion pack
all on one DVD for the price of just the director's edition ($39.99) I figured, for the money,
might as well try it. At first, I was disappointed in the fact that my computer seemed to be unable
to handle it. I have a 2.4 ghz P4, ATI Radeon x800 pro (256 meg) and a gig of RAM, and the game
stuttered like a mofo. I had to go Low on all the Graphics options, and "Medium" ....

(12) It's great to have the beta! The graphics and physics are great in the new Halo 3 Beta. The
graphics are NOT the same as Halo 2 as some cows (Ps3 fanboys) have said. Maps are a lot bigger and
expansive. Some guns like the Assault Rifle and the Battle Rifle has been dumbed down so that
it's no longer all guns. However, the game is not glitch-free either. Some glitches include:
zoom in when you didn't even press the zoom button. Messed up colour when you're firing at

Battlefield 2142
Review! (21) Well it's finally here, battlefield 2142. I know most people don't want to get this because
of the stuff EA/DICE did to bf2, anyway i got it before it was released on EA downloader ($110 here

(3) If any one is interested, please reply. This is just a little information about modding halo and
halo2, which I think is a great way to extend the lives of the games. Just so you know, I am not
talking about the cheating patches used on Xbox Live Halo1: The modding community has had a lot of
time to work with halo1. Although not many mods have been released for halo1, it remains the easiest
to mod of the 2 halos (at this time). Programmers have dedicated their skill to developing programs
to edit halo1, including one called spark edit, and another called Halo Map Tools....

These are tips for Halo 2. (11) These are some tips I picked up. Some may be old hat, some may be new. I'm not sure who reads
this, so I put some important things I use all the time. 1. Jump punch. Always remember that a
melee in midair does more damage than a melee when you are stationary. 2. Fast melee. To melee
faster than normal: punch, switch weapons, then punch, etc. It punches much faster. You can also
punch, tap x, punch. 3. Block PP shot. To block a plasma pistol shot, dual wield. When a plasma
shot nears you, punch. The shot will hit the gun that you throw away, not you. Prac....

matches on weird places, such as ivory tower, lockout, midship (Oh, God!), Beaver Creek, and any
other small map. 2. Try getting more headshots. 3. Sweep sniping. With a sniper, put your reticule
near your target. Fire, then quickly snap the reticule over the target's head (or body).
Practice it, and try to get it smoothly and faster. Sometimes, you may feel more comfortable

because you can easily find these two weapons in almost any map and the plasma rifle takes down your

Area 51 For The Xbox
my review for the game. (3) I just picked up Area 51 and I must say that I'm a little disapointed in the game. The Single
player gaming is only 8-10 hours (depending how good you are) and trust me,it is not a challenge.
The multiplay is very repetitive and get very old very fast. Don't believe comercials saying it
could be the new Halo because it dosent even come close. There aren't alot of weapons to choose
from and turning into a creature ain't as fun as you would think. The graphics are nice and the
