Call Of Duty 4 - My Review

Flawless008
This is my personal review of Call of Duty 4...

Graphics: Very high quality + great FPS
--For full quality graphics you definately need a good video card.

Gameplay: Very realistic, therefore less competitive from CoD:2.

Rankings: Very good, weapons disributed very well.

Final Rating: 9/10

What would you give?

I've been a COD fan since COD 1 but I've only played the COD 4 demo and a bit of multiplayer at a friends house so this isn't entirely accurate but from what I've seen:

Graphics: 7/10 (good but not that good)
Gameplay: 7/10 (fun as but your route through the missions is too forced, it shold be more open like Crysis but obviously not that open)
Weapons: 8/10 (the weapons are very well done and there is a good variety)
Multiplayer: 9/10 (this was so fun to play, worth paying full price in itself)

Overall: 8.5/10

Comment:
Ok, it gets repetitive and the missions have too forced routes but the multiplayer system is one of the best and this is definatly a game worth getting if you can play it on you computer at a reasonable detail.

I recently acquired Dead Space for my Playstation 3. I've been waiting for a true survival
horror game to come out for this generation for a long time. Many games I've tried recently had
simple "enemy jumps out of no where at you" scares but past that lacked atmosphere and depth and
none really got into the players head or pulled them into the game. Enter Dead Space. The graphics
are amazing. Some other reviewers have commented on grainy looks to come of the graphics and
I've even seen screenshots prior to buying the game that just looked lower in quality. T....

    (7)
Iron Man, for the non-geeks out there, is said summer Superhero from the 60s and from the same
company (Marvel Comics) that gave us Spiderman, The X-Men and The Hulk. And since he’s the new hero
on the block, the film takes the traditional formula to get its message across; Introduce the hero,
his life, have him suffer some kind of disaster/trauma leading to gaining powers, decides to fight
crime, fights crime, saves the girl & then gets outed to the rest of the world. So, by applying
the above formula, I can tell you that the story is about millionaire, playboy, alcoh....

Well, I have played most of Penumbra Overture, Penumbra: Black Plague, and I just downloaded and
completed the most recent and final addition to the series, Penumbra: Requiem. Here's what I
think: Basically, the game continues right where the last one left off, just as Black Plague did
for Overture. Now, anyone that's played the first two know that the game is mostly based on
logic and physics puzzles, sort of like sections of Half Life and Half Life 2, but the difference
here is that you get no weapons. In Overture, most of the puzzles and progression involved....

Well I just picked up Assassin's Creed for the the PC yesterday. So far I've gotten though

went well. When I went to run it for the first time, it automatically downloaded the latest patch,
which went well. Started it up, and adjusted the controls to fit my style, since I use the arrows

install it, as there was much hassle when I attempted to install my BCM43xx wireless network drivers

have beaten it sooner if I hadn't gotten stuck on one of the later levels... Here we go:
Graphically, the game is beautiful. On par with most games nowadays. The character models are well

  20. Yahoo! Messenger 9 Beta Preliminary Review
    (15)
I have been using the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger for over two weeks now and I would like to
give a quick review of it. Overall this is not a major change from what I know as Messenger. As it
has been said before, this is evolutionary not revolutionary. From what I can see there are no new
features (at least none that I would use), the user interface (UI) is prettier, and it looks like
there have been some bug fixes; that’s it. Under the hood there are some things to note. The
current version of the YSMG protocol with version 8 is 15 and Messenger 9 has bee....

lens. The camera's functions are adapted for each environment the photo is made in. There are 13
modes a photo can be made in. During the filming you can use the optic zoom, which is just at 3X for
this camera. The internal memory is just 9MB, not even close to being enough to make photos at max

    Online game review (2)
Review of Battle Dawn Hi guys, last week I started playing a game called Battle Dawn. It’s
an online strategy game. You play on a map of the world, when you start you can build your colony
anywhere on earth. I built mine right over my home town of Nelspruit. The topography of the game is
very good; it’s got all the lakes, mountains and desserts of the real world! There are 4 resources
in the game. Metals, oil, food and energy. Metals and oil are used to build things, food is used to
feed your colony and increase its population and energy is used to perform spe....
  24. Wii Sports
    Short Review (10)
Has anyone tried the Wii/Wii sports that comes free with the console? Honestly I find the animation
is a bit lame, but the concept and game play are decent. It includes baseball, tennis, golf, boxing,
and bowling. By far, baseball and tennis are the best. Even for a Wii game, the depth of
interactivity is a bit low, but it leaves for a fun time with friends or family. I found that the
sensors were pretty accurate, and did appropriate actions according to your motion. Only minor moves
of the Wiimote are required, but it adds to the fun if you actually get up and play like....
  25. Battlefield 2142
    Review! (21)
Well it's finally here, battlefield 2142. I know most people don't want to get this because
of the stuff EA/DICE did to bf2, anyway i got it before it was released on EA downloader ($110 here
in australia). The first thing you'll notice is how similar the ingame interface looks to
battlefield 2, it looks like a mod at first but when you get into the game it isn't. It uses a
modified version of the bf2 engine which has added support for snow and rain as well as some pretty
cool lighting effects. Apart from conquest mode there is also a new titan mode. Th....
