It's nice, but for some reason it would drive me nuts when I'd use it as my wallpaper .

I think it looks pretty kool. What programs did you use? To me though, I'd use it if there was no text and text shadow. It reminds me of some like of light on a water droplet. It could use a reflection if it that is what you're going for, or texture if it is an opaque sphere, or maybe even like a fetus if you wan't something biolife. The colors make me wonder what the light sources are. Maybe you can add something lout of focus behind it then distort it as it crosses the circle, or add some smoke to give it a sense of depth of field. Something. Try different colors like the negative and make it a wallpaper or a backdrop for a powerpoint. Post an update if you could and let us know how you did it, okay?

No offence but personally I don't like it a lot. The text is extremely annoying as it is "popped out" from the rest of the image (great for advertising and titles though). I prefer having yellow/gold colours along with other darker, less bright colours such as blue or dark red. Also, I'm curious as whether you used Photoshop, GIMP or other image manipulation tools to do this. I'm not a very good graphics designer myself, and am always open to constructive criticism.

Good job! I love the theme. Have you try changing it to light blue or gray scale? But I think you should change the text font, the blur and bevel type. How long does it take to finish that work? I think this is the 20th art work you've finished.

my computer not loading the image, or am I doing something wrong? To see the page it is The Gamers

My Online Portfolio (image Heavy)
Any advice for maintaining a portfolio? (18) Hey everyone. I introduced myself in the lobby forum but in case you didn't see that, my name
is Noel Hill and I'm a fine arts student at the University of Southern Maine. Anyway, I'm in
the process of building an online portfolio and I could use all the help I can get. Like I said,
I'm a fine arts major, but despite this, my school wouldn't really know where to start when
it comes to instruction and advice regarding my genre and how to go about gaining exposure with it.
I'm primarily a conceptual designer and illustrator, which basically means t....
Best Background Colour?

Image Distortion When Importing Picture
(1) I need some help here. I'm currently working on a Macromedia Flash project and am having
difficulty preserving the image quality when importing pictures from Macromedia Fireworks into
Flash. The images have a TRANSPARENT background and every time I load them into Flash, the colors
have a lighter shade around the images. I don't want to: * make the transparent background into
a specific (matching) solid color because 'cropping' the image out with a drop-down shadow
is a pain Is there some kind of feature that I have to configure so that the colors don....
Decent Transparent Images With Photoshop/image Rea
(2) hey, was wondering if anyone here knows how to create decent transparent images with Adobe PS or
image ready. So far it looks like I can only make an image that is max. 256 colors and even if I
choose that all the colors are changed in my image and it looks "washed out." Also anyone can
answer me a question... Isn't it sort of a catch 22 that if you want a transparent image to look
decent you have to add a color matte to make it blend into a solid background, so what's the
point of it being transparent when it only blends with solid backgrounds anyways? No matte....
