Avatars

Allright, i agree this is a really silly question, but after installing phpbb (which came along with phpnuke) i noticed that the avatars which were pre-installed were totally useless and out-dated. i searched the net over but couldn't find cool avatars, like the ones here at astahost. do you know any website which have some decent avatars??

I would suggest going to sites which support MSN messenger or AIM. Most of them will have great icons or display pics. Some of them come in packages just download'em to ur ftp. So far i've heard of one site which really loves MSN messenger - http://www.mess.be

It's a pretty cool site with many third party programs and things to do with MSN messenger. As the name suggests - it MESSES with msn messenger. But that's not the point is it? The point is you want some avatars. Well at the site you can download emoticon packages too for ur forum. I'm not really sure how phpBB will accept custom emoticons but i'm quite sure you can add emoticons. Mess with it!

Here is a site with a lot of Star Wars icons, mainly 50x50 pixels, and some 70x70 px. There are also some miscelanious(sp?) 50x50 icons, such as a Punisher one, a Crow one, and a few Raven ones.
