ATi, is now trying to stay on top of nvidia in the video card game of cat and mouse. I'm even in the market for a new computer and may consider this card after reading that review. The good thing is they are a canadian company and i would greatly support them as i am canadian =P. The head office isn't far from where i live, i've heard of people bin diving for videocards at ATi. I'm not sure if they find any because i'm sure that Ati would crush them so no one would get their hands on a free card =)

Yea I had read a review already of the 1900 (toms hardware I believe) that said it was one hella powerful little beast. More power in single or dual card configs then the 7800gtx and they've started working on power consumption so its actually a lower power consumption then the 1800. I wouldn't mind seeing ati hold the top spots for awhile again but I'm sure the next wave of cards will be out before I hit "add reply"

[start of useless rambling] The r580 series really should have been the r520 series and although this card does perform very well individually, in CrossFire it still cannot outperform the Nvidia "current King" 7800GTX. Orginally I was planning on buying a X1800 XT, but it was a complete dissapointment in my point of view and I opted to wait for the X1900 XT/X. Now that it's out I don't see a vast improvement over a 7800GTX. Probably the only thing I like right now about the X1900 is the fact that it can play shader heavy games like FEAR in very HIGH resolutions (i.e 1600x1200). if you head on over to http://www.hardocp.com you can read their review on the ATi's new card. Although I am a ATi Fanboy, I think it was really stupid of ATi to have the card with only 16 pixel pipelines when they could have very well increased it to 24 like Nvidia or 32, but instead they had a 3:1 ratio between the pixel shaders and pipelines... *sigh* Oh well, I'm still happy that the card is out and seeing some of the upcoming heavy shader games like Crysis IS GOING TO BE AWESOME... Okay got that off my chest...[end of useless rambling] On another note has anyone seen sighting of the new card?
