ATi R580 chip is coming. it will replace the R520 line entirely. aand will be named Radeon X1900XL, X1900XT and X1900XT CrossFire Edition. I still think they need some more work on crossfire it's not at it's full potential anyway but it sounds great I wonder if it will be as good or better then the 7800GT dont take me the wrong way I'm not a Nvidia fan but I like to compare anyway cant wait to see this thing fire up

Is the X1600 series only a tiny "scream" from ATI for the christmas
business?

2 month ago everybody said.. "wow" the best chip on the planet *g*..
the 1600 series will win the compitition of the grapic cards.

But now...only 2 month later.. everything is different?

The X1900 is state of the art... everything which was written in the
PC magazine and so on is nonsense?

So...

It seems to me, that the X1600 is only a joke-series.. to provide a better
start for the X1900 series...


Am I right? Or are the things different?
