CPanel only has a single box for the mail exchanger rather than allowing one to add a record. Is there some way to do this? When I was on the other side of the hosting biz, I remember being able to add arbitrary DNS records from within CPanel. |

Site Will Not Load, I Can Not Get To The Cpanel

Small Problem With My Domain.
(3) Okay, so here is what happened: I started my site using sonic-deck.uni.cc as the domain name,
assuming I shouldn't prefix it with a www. , however this means that mediawiki which I have
installed always goes to sonic-deck.uni.cc and the rest goes to www.sonic-deck.uni.cc, I believe
this can be fixed. I tried rewriterules and redirects but it didn't work. So, could you please
switch my domain to www.sonic-deck.uni.cc server-wise? EDIT: I've fixed the problem with
mediawiki by adding changing the $wgServer variable to my site's url. Although it would stil....
Can't Access Cpanel - 'login Attempt Failed'
(5) When I Try to access the CPanel, I am greeted with the 'Login Attempt Failed' error. The
default FTP account is not working either. I haven't had any modifications with my site yet, so
I am not sure if someone has hacked into my account. Is there any problem with the system? I have
not reset the password as I don't want to loose 10 credits over nothing. Please confirm if the
problem is pertaining to my account only.....

servers before. May I have any problem about installing the movable type? Is fast cgi module
installed on astahost? I asked this question because movable type's new version can run up to 15
times faster with fast cgi. And finally if my site is hosted on astahost with a subdomain ( like

Question About cPanel And FTP?
how does it look like?? (4) i am new to this ASTA service and did try it yet and considering requesting an Account but i am not
sure about something. first the FTP: many sites have cheated on me with FTP account , does it work
with "my" FTP account meaning that i can connect to the FTP account using my own FTP client without
having problem uploading and downloading files?? and secoundly , the Cpanel. how does it look like
(friendly user interface) and is it easy to use non-like other hosting services which provide a
complex use Cpanel and even worst no help-Guide so you can start using it... adn....

(5) Hi. I've got some email accounts on my domain and associated with astahost cPanel. Now, after
this hosting failure only my main account is working... the other accounts do not login me

The sub-domain (1) I am tring to sign up for a sub-domain. I put CyberWarefare.Astahost.com. When I click submit it
says this does not appear to be a sub-domain of trap17.com and goes on to say they don't
register domains. What am I doing wrong? Do i need cyberwarefare.trap17.com instead?....
Domain Parking Problem
Need Help (3) Until now I have astahost subdomain for my site but now I have registered a paid top level domain
name for myself. Now I want to use that for my site so I go to my CPanel and from there to Parked
Domain section. When I enter my domain name in the text box and click on the add domain button I
receive the error QUOTE Sorry, you are not allowed to add any more than ( 0 ) parked domains!

(1) Hello, I have just got my hosting approved and I can't seam to get anything working. I can't
point my nameservers to astahost yet so I can't get into cpanel by adding the /cpanel on the

in my username: oughtonm and password but it doesn't let me in. Could an admin help me out

What Smtp Server Do You Use ?
Along with your hosted domain here ... (6) Anybody using their own domains with astahost here like me ? When you create email addresses for
your domain - receiving is no problem - you can connect to 110 directly by using your own domain
name. But SMTP is missing. How do you send out mails using the email client ? Does anyone know a
list of free smtp servers on the net ? I don't want to use my ISP's SMTP. Thanks
