| | i have got a new pc but now it give blue screens (of death) with titles as bad_pool_hacker etc., and when i restart and send the rapport it says that there is a bad installaton of hardware but when i look after it i don't see any problems with hardware.

New PC, if you have not installed much stuff I would start from scratch, save your files, and reinstall Windows XP Pro. If you are unable to reinstall, suggest running your Virus and Spyware tools. one of my posts which talks about spyware tools: http://www.astahost.com/index.php?act=ST&f...indpost&p=38112If you have recently added new hardware or installed software I would suggest looking for the newest drivers from the manufactures site or uninstalling the software to see if the issues go away.

i have already run a anti virus and spyware scan, and i have also not install new hardware i suppose it's from the hitte but i'm search of somebody has another answer thanks for your answer

Why don't you try running windowsupdate, it have helped me when i got that errors!.

when does it happen ? Suddenly, or while you're gaming, cpu intesive tasks ??? If it's new and you (and we) can't find a solution, then go back to the shop and ask if they can resolve it under warranty ofcourse. If you realy think it's because of the heat (I guess you're from Be or Nl and you meant heat instead of hitte ?  ), try checking the CPU's temperature (try speedfan to get temps). Another thing is that there are problems with the hdd, try to find the utility from the hdd manufacturer. Ow, other problem could be a bad PSU, but then you'll need a volt meter or something. It's just a matter of analyzing and excluding.

There's a boot CD powered by Linux called Ultimate Boot CD, you should download and burn the ISO onto a CD and boot it on the computer affected. Use it to backup your important data then reinstall Windows XP. www.ultimatebootcd.com xboxrulz

It realy works well, but you'll need some time to create the CD (but it's explained very well on the site)

updated since 2004 to port KHTML to Windows, but through Wikipedia I found Swift, the current
version is 0.2, I just downloaded it and tested and was amazed, that it shows the pages very well,
even sometimes they break and the GUI itself needs to be updated, what you want, it is version 0.2!
For all the web designers and people using Windows it is a good practice to see how their pages look
in Safari and Konqueror, due to Swift is based on Webkit, Safari on MacOS and Webki....

Problems With Nero
(11) I have a problem when trying to burn audio cd's with Nero. When I reach the place where it asks
me to "add" what I want to burn, it doubles the size of what I am burning. In other words if what I
am burning is 55 minutes, when I add it to Nero it automatically becomes 110 If it was 45 minutes it
automatically becomes 90 minutes. Of course then the file is too large to burn as it exceeds the
capacity of the disk. Has anyone had this problem before???....
Screensaver Problems
It wont start (12) Hi I just re installed windows on my computer (I know i can hear people saying "Why Windows", but i
need it to run certain programs) and i have encountered a problem with my screensaver. I have it
set to load the "My Pictures" screensaver after 3 minutes. But after 3 minutes the screen saver wont
appear!! I have also set my monitor to turn off (standby) after 5 minutes. The only thing that i
find strange is that when i have locked the computer (e.g switch user) and it is sitting on the
login screen, the monitor will go into standby after 5 minutes, but before that no sc....

Need Correct Program To Open MD5 File In Windows XP
(7) Somehow I changed how an MD5 file gets opened and it now gets opened with windows media player.
I've gone to Control Panel>Folder Options>File Types, but there is no restore to default. The

Strange Happenings With Xp Pro

times before and never had problems with it. However, the other day I tried it and when I rebooted
my computer, almost nothing worked. Flash drives wouldn't recognize, the sound card in device
manager was supposedly working properly, but if i tried to play anything it would tell me there was
no sound card installed. The system slowed to a crawl, my virus scan, firewall, and pgp wouldn't
start. I repaired the installation off of the original windows cd, and it fixed....

Problems When I Download

Windows: Cant Return From Energy-Saving Mode

When I touched the mouse to get the screen back on(like always) nothing happened. I heard the
