I'm sorry but 7 hands down I mean you shouldn't even need an explanation for that one, it's pretty self explanitory
7 ownz all, Everything after 8 is terrible, gameplay in 10 is alright. but the endign in 9 - 10 - 10.2 are not worht playing through the entire game. The sidequests own though.
FF7 was the best by quite a distance. An awesome plot, superb gameplay and an excellent soundtrack to boot. One Winged Angel remains probably the best game track ever.
However, saying FF7 was the best doesn't detract from the rest of the series. Every game in the series is an outstanding game on its own, with the possible exceptions of FF8 and FF10-2, but this reflects more on the high standard of the rest of the games than the actual quality of those games.
ff7 rulz!!! ff6 is ok. others are garbage.
10's the best gr8 storyline
im an old school gamer, so final fantasy 2 in america, 4 in japan is my favorite. i have spoken to one person in my life, face to face that is, that has completed ths one, besides myself. it took me forever to find the crystal sword. plus, edge has got to be one of the coolest characters for a game ever
You forgot the legends gb series, the tactics games, and chronicles/crystal chronicles... and FF adventure, but it doesnt count. it was Zelda with a chocobo
My favorite Final Fantasy was... the fifth one.
Having the main character named Butz was just... too much for me.
7 had the best story line of all the games, i really wish they'd rerelease it with updated graphice, my copy broke

Yeah, 7 is by far the best. It's a shame they're not remaking it for the PS3 or PSP. I would want to see how cool the graphics and battling is. Yes, I know they're making a sequel, but a remake is always better. Square Enix should really consider this.
Final Fantasy VI (III) is very overrated. Seriously, I hate that game. The graphics and gameplay are not even that good. I don't know why everyone like it, because I don't. Then again, anti-FFVII fans are probably saying the same about me liking FFVII.
As far as I'm concerned, 7's story pulled me in more then any game had before that point. I started playing it and always hated stopping until I had completed the whole game. It's really one of the few long games I have played through multiple times without hesitation simply because I knew I would love the play each time thru and find new **** every time too.
Alot of the early ones were amazing for their times and I havn't played the ones post-ps1 era...but still I think 7 will hold it's position as my fav FF for some time to come
I agree with the majority lol... 7 rocks. I love cloud!
