Definitely Adobe Dreamweaver is the best Web Authouring available. But its price can keep most of the users away from it.

For those who cannot afford Dreamweaver, the best Opensource editor is Nvu.

The soon to be released version of Dreamweaver promises of more advanced features, hoping to get my hands on it smile.gif

I concur, but this topic has already been debated at length in several other threads.

I agree too, but one of the things that i hate is the fact that DW adds a lot of junk codes.

BTW, as Grafitti says this topic was debated a lot.

Best regards,

  1. A Free Graphic Design Program That Could Equal Photoshop? - (36)
The past few years of my designing experience have been accomplished mainly by using a copy of my
friend's father's Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0 CD. But my computer had been bugging me lately and
i had no choice but to reformat it, at the same time wiping away any trace of the program.
Unfortunately for me, i hadn't made a copy of the CD myself and i feel so much regret and
remorse over that incident. Still, i have to look towards the future. I've went to the Adobe
website and in no way am i going to pay 600 bucks for one program that i use once every week. A...

  3. True Free Design Program? - Is there such a powerful freeware? (16)
The closest thing to a free powerful graphics editor is either pain.NET or The GIMP. The GIMP -
very unstable and not suggested for anyone who wants a stable envirnoment. - if you can cope with
the numerous errors, then the plugins can prove very valuable - is as strong as Photoshop and alike
when it comes to the actual editing paint.NET - very stable - can be seen as the bridge between
paint and PSP or Photoshop. - Only has limited features - little or no plugins yet available
Verdict: paint.NET for easy use The GIMP for advanced graphical manipulation ...

  6. Old "graphing" Program (logo?) - (4)
I remember back in the early 1990's that there was a program used for creating images based on
graphing points (x, y axis I assume). I have searched high and low for this old program and was told
it was called LOGO. I tried looking for it and found many varieties of it and none of them seem to
be the one I recognized and used back then. I think the coding is similar to something like: 30
circle (10,20) or something like that. I might have some old scrap paper of it in my closet. I
will try to dig some up if I can find them. Does anyone remember using this progra...
  7. Any Good Ocr Tracing Programs? - What OCR program would you recogment? (1)
I am looking for a good OCR tracing program. I have a whole book with printed adresses I need to get
to my computer, and it takes way to long time to copy it manually. I have tried "softwriting 3.2"
but it did not work with my scanner. An Agfa 5200, even though it has TWAIN interface. I need to
get the text to MS Word. What is good? It would be nice if it also could "learn" to trace my

Paint.Net is a very good program to use instead of PSP (PaintShop Pro). You can download it on:

before you make such a post - at least make an attempt to search the forums and see if a similar
post already exists. If you don't realize yet - such one-liner posts with literally no content
and talking about old stuff doesn't contribute anything meaningful to our forums at all. Here
