Hey guys and gals, I came across this link to a great site from another forum, anyway this site gives away free domain name(s) [they will register it for you], iPods...etc.
These people dont want anything from you (not a single cent ☻), you just have to search on their search engine to gain rewards. You need to gain points by click on the links shown on the search results, thats its, every time you click (you get to click only once per day) you get 10 points and you need to get 1000 points to get your domain, thats it, is'nt it cool? Here is the link to FREE DOMAIN WEBSITE. Apart from that search engine thingy, there are other great offers you can earn points for, but these offers depend on the place you live. These offers can get you upto 50 points and once that means you will get your domain in just 20 days!
Notice from miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG:
Referral Link Removed. In future, if you post a referral link, make sure that you mention so. Not just that, you've also got to provide a clean direct link to the same site and mention it beside this. This is mandatory on our board, as we want our members to have the choice of signing up both as a referral and directly. If any post fails to abide by the above conditions, referral links will be immediately removed.
Yes, I know this one. I'm registered over there, but figured that it will take too long for me to get a domain, so I just bought one. It's really saves you from waiting, and isn't expensive. However, those who have been patient enough to wait, say that the web site is rather good.
Up until now, the best place I found for people wanting to get FREE domain names is HostBidder.com.
But when I say free, I mean that you don't have to pay actual money for it. But you do have to post in the forum until you accumulate enough points to get the domain name of your choice. It doesn't take all that long though to accumulate the points required.
Gone through the first site posted and agree that it is rather a long time you will get a domain, so big patience is required, if you're planning to get your domain later, maybe it is a good choice, but I also use hostbidder dot com and I can confirm that I got my domain for free, I just needed to post on their forums, which is actually easy. What is bad, that you can only get one domain from them, unless you also get their hosting, you could continue on getting domains, but there is also a limit.
In fact, domains are not so expensive these days, so in my opinion, if you can it is much better to buy them and not waste your precious time.
I don't know if you're talking for this, of which service, if you're asking about hostbidder then you only need to do it once and your domain will be registered for a year, after a year you can pay for it or again get the points at their forum and pay again for a year for that domain. You can't buy the domain for two or more years using the hostbidder domains. I think similar thing is with the topic related service. Because it would be stupid to pay it monthly, if it can take 100 days to get the domain, so my answer is yearly.
What is bad, that you can only get one domain from them, unless you also get their hosting, you could continue on getting domains, but there is also a limit.
Actually, HostBidder.com's rules about domain name registration have changed...
Now, you can register as many domain names as you'd like, as long as you have enough points, without the need to get their hosting package. So basically now, if for example you think AstaHost's hosting package is superiour (which I think it is), you can simply join HostBidder.com solely for domain names .
EzyRewards takes way too long and you need a credit card for heaps of the offers. I use and prefer HostBidder to get a free domain - works and you can get one in just 13 days!
I suppose some people might like the referral aspect of ezyrewards though. Good if you have a hell of a lot of friends!
I can't say that domainlagoon dot com is the best free domain service, because it still is only available for USA citizens, so I wouldn't call that an Internet service, because usually I refer an Internet service as for it is worldwide and available for everyone, no matter where he lives or what isp he has. Furthermore, ezyrewards dot com just makes them money for you wasting your time and spamming getting referrers. So still hostbidder is quite good, because it is a worldwide service, you just need to participate at the forums to get a free top level domain with a very powerful management panel and as I know hostbidder doesn't earn a lot of profit from this service. But of course, reading and hearing different opinions, domainlagoon for an USA citizen is great
LOL, this is the same topic as we had last week. The best free domain service is at domainlagoon.com I have one domain from them, i get it 17 hours and spent 20 minutes to earn it. After a year you just earn the points again and well you get it free again. They also have a bunch of partner sites which give you another free domain and another free domain with a gift card. If you live in the United States and want a domain then go for it. Domains are cheap in one place and expensicve at one place. I get domains fro 1.99, but then i have another domain which i got for 30 lol what a rip off.
YOU DON'T NEED A CREDIT CARD FOR ANY OF THE OFFERS!!!
You just complete the information honestly and get the points.
Took me around 3 days to get my first domain and a superb service from Collyer Maryketing (Ezyrewards) and Optinom (their chosen domain registrar).
It is brilliant to use, does not take long and their referrals are quite good.
If you would like, you can use my referral, www.ezyrewards.com/?id=114738
or use the normal link
ww.ezyrewards.com
Hostbidder takes a lot longer in my opinon, and this way your supporting young companies as well to grow - and I have found a lot of the services services which I still use to date like the Surveys and Lightspeed Panel etc.

What is the Best Place to Register a New Domain. In the past I have used GoDaddy.com. However, now
GoDaddy's prices have risen to $9.99 per .Com Domain, and I do not feel like paying that amount.
I know there are cheaper providers, and I would like to know if any one would recommend a Domain
Registrar excluding GoDaddy.com.....
Here is a reverse IP domain check tool that takes the domain name or IP address of a web server and
searches for other sites known to be hosted on that same web server. Data is gathered from search
engine results, which is not guaranteed to be complete. Knowing the other web sites hosted on a web
server is important from both an SEO and web filtering perspective, particularly for those on shared
web hosting plans. I tried it with dserban.astahost.com, and I was impressed with the results.

* This is the review and tip for having the domain in the cheapest way. Not a spam. I used my own
money to check the service and I do not get any profit or in connection with netfirm.com than just
an ordinary customer of the company. * I have reviewed and searched for the issue here for quite a

There are many different domain services, that supply domains for free. Dot tk for example give you
a .tk web domain for free. Though there is lots of advertisments on it. An even better domain for
free site is .de.vu This is a german site, though if you understand a little bit of german, you can
get yourself through to getting a free .de.vu domain with no advertisment at alll?!!! Oh yea this is
good. remember you need to become member and give them your email etc. So in the end a real .com
domain for 50 cent or even less is really cheap and more efective. So I hope you ....
The little corner of the universe (and web) I've been designing in my head has always been
called one of two things: - BitterSweet Dreams - NigaiAmai Yume I tend to use the two
interchangeably (see below for my discussion on "NigaiAmai Yume"). Now that I'm trying to force
myself to put it up on the web, however, I'm not sure which to use as my "primary". On one hand,
BitterSweet Dreams makes more sense for my primarily English audience. On the other hand, I like
NigaiAmai Yume, and am a freak. ^-^ bittersweet-dreams.com is available, but kinda strikes me a....
There are so many different places where you can register a domain name. I was just curious who
everyone uses and how much per year do you pay for it? Also if you feel like it, leave a rating for
everyone else on the forums to take into account. I personally use FortuneCity.com and they're
rates are $8.95/year. I think they are an average domain registrar. They have good technical
support and I haven't had any billing problems with them. I've been with them for the past
couple years. They'll send out reminders when your domain is about to expire, b....

Domain names are by the Internet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN:
http://www.icann.org/) and the names can be registered through ICANN approved registrars. Once you
register a domain, your name, home address and telephone number can be accessed by anyone on the
web, unless you protect it through a proxy, showing the proxyhost's information. Most people use
this to protect their personal information, but those with bad intentions do so to spam. But my
discussion point is, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO: http://www.uspto.gov/....

Ok. Here we go. I've got a website, and some lame spammer uses my domain name to send his fckin
SPAM. Now I'm only receiving "Delivery Failure" messages from the adresses where this mofo has
sent spam but that doesn't exist. I was told that with some software, it's possible to send
an email, and to put whatever you want in the field "From:" so, even if you're sending the
message from blabla@hotmail.com you still can make people believe that you send it from any other
adress (ex: admin@astahost.com) and when they receive it they really think that it wa....
Yahoo's "SmallBusiness" division is having a sale on domain names. You can get one for 2.99/yr.
and pay upto 5 years in advance. This offer ends on 10/31/05 Normally they charge 9.95 with fairly
often sales at 4.95, but 2.99 is rare for them. If you want to take advantage of the the sale go to
http://smallbiz.yahoo.com . I did, and I like it. You can't change your DNS until they
determine the domain has propegated. Mine did overnight though. It also says it'll auto-renew
