| | Recently, I've been encountering several problems with my computer. One of those is that when i play a game, say MapleStory that uses up the whole screen, sometimes it would just hang for a second or 2 and restart the computer. Each time this happens, i send the error report and (surprisingly) Microsoft have found a solution which i do not understand.

So how do i resolve this issue? It's very irritating and i have a gut feeling that this has something to do with Virtual memory and the new Graphics Driver i bought (SAPPHIRE RADEON 9250 - 256mb DDR memory plugged into AGP port.)
If anyone can help me with this I'll be very grateful! Thanks in advance! |

Try and see if the video drivers installed properly. You could also try and get the 2nd newest release. What that error from Mircrosoft said was that the driver was trapping the program and causing errors. So you need to change your drivers or do what they say and decrease hardware acceleration. Personally i'd try changing the drivers, and see if you can get them from sapphires website ~HellFire

I tried everything you said, but it still didn't work. In the end, i had no choice but to backup my files and do a complete reformatting of my computer. It's not so bad, seeing that my computer has lasted 2 years already and is ready for a reformat. Thanks for your help though. There seems to be no problems at the moment.

Help! Pc Not Detecting Video Card
(13) Hi. I need help with installing a video/graphic card in the PCI Express x16 slot. My motherboard is
Intel D915PBL. This problem applies to a ATI X700 card. I slotted the card into the PCI Express x16

applications, after some times my system will automatically reboots! Thats why I had decided to
format the hard disk and check the hard disk for errors! I was fixing the bad sectors using

Video Card: Need Help On Purchasing A Video Card

am getting video, but the quality is not too good. I played that new game Rome and the game works,

Help Needed: Monitor Out Of Timing
Out of Timing error with certain apps (6) I've decided to convert to an LCD monitor over the CRT, which I believe to be infinitely better.
Anyway there are certain applications that, when I start up, the monitor goes black and a message
says: Out of Timing H: 43 Hz V 27kHz. Or something like that. Any help? Drivers are up to date, and
I think it's not influenced by resolution. I'd like to get this to work because it was

Problems With Matrox Video Card
gaming (2) i have five video cards at home, all crap, (i just ordered a geforce 2200 with 256mb ram for 70
bucks) but i have more than one computer...so the geforce cant go in all of the computers. one video

ATI Video Card & Black Screen

Video Card Cooling
(5) I'm looking at getting a new heatsink+fan for my 9800 pro 256. I've heard that they generate
gobs of heat, because the bulk of memory is on the top of the board. I don't know if this is
true, so that would be my first question. My second question would be, If it does generate a lot of
heat, what is a good heatsink+fan? I've been looking at some of the zalman heatsinks, but I know
there are others that are probally just as good. Any suggestions?....

I keep getting a disk read error... (10) Half the time I restart the computer in my bedroom I get a disk read error /sad.gif"

startup. So I just figured as long as I don't restart nothing can go wrong right? Well...My
sis just restarted that computer and now I'm getting a disk read error....It says that I should
hit alt-ctrl-del and try again...Well I keep getting a error and normaly whenever I used to get it I
would just reformat it...But I really don't feel like reformating it...And it has a lil data th....

i can think of, i even downloaded the PowerMAX utility to see if the hard disk was truly damaged,
and no, every test passed.. correctly.. so.. I have very important data on that hard disk, please
