Sports Games I Love

Sports games are great, but once you win the champsionship you get easily bored with them. Unless you play muliplayer, now those are fun.

The only real time I play any sports games is when I have some friends over (you know, other human beings you interact with on a regular basis...) Hockey games are the common fav with us (Canadians, go fig) but we like our basketball and football games too. Can't wait for the next gen worth of games, sports games always show up when we have parties right after Halo/2 haha

In case you didn't notice I only mentioned sports, not specific games...mostly because I dont actually know what my favs are. I play whatever the person owns that I'm at there place... last sports game I actually owned myself was NHL Faceoff 98 (awesome game for the time lol, go playstation!).

The best game I have ever played was Championship manager...all the version was fun and it simulates the real life football environment and condition.

I use to like FIFA. my favorite FIFA is the FIFA 2003.
NBA was ok for me but I do not have any favorite version in particular.
Tycoon games also rocks cause it simulation game.
Simulation games are my prefered games.

madden 2006 is the best football game made....NBA live series...2006 disappointed me...2005 was cool i loved the slam dunk contest...but that gets tired after a while...

Sports games rule the most! They definetly are more fun to play than some adventure and action games, partly because of the interaction you can have with fellow gamers who own the same game as you. My favorite type of sport games are probably football because every year a new football game is made and it's always got some changes to it.

The latest football game i've got is Fifa 06 and I got that a couple of days ago and i've already mastered it. The Fifa series is good because every year they make significant changes to it and what I like most about it is how the football players on the game aare so much like their real life counterparts! For instance, the celebrations are similar and the team they play for is the same in real life!

I like Madden 06, NBA 06, NHL 06, Tiger Woods 06 and thats about it I dont have any others but most of these games can be modded except for madden, I havent seen any for tiger woods 06, but nba and nhl theres some good mods out, like stadium mods, uniform mods, and so on..makes the game better

My favorite sports game would be almost any hockey game made! football games are pretty fun too! but im a all out hockey player and fan! go tampa bay and montreal! I have bought almost ever frikin hockey game made for all systems! and i still play them!

I agree, football games come top! And soccer games are usually good! Lately though I think its the racing games that are doing well. Forza and NFS and even project gotham racing are all great games.

I absolutely love Madden 08 for the Wii. There are so many possible actions that are controlled simply by moving either the nunchuk or the Wii controller. The soundtracks for the game, of corse, are incredible, and the accuracy of the teams is unbelievably accurate. For instance, I play using the Buffalo Bills because I am originally from Buffalo and JP Losman, the Bills quarterback, fumbles just like in real life! It's amazing how accurate this game is. The only major problem with this game are the graphics... When looking at an instant replay, I noticed that one of the players arms seemed to twist completely around like a windmill.. Another instance is when I looked at a replay of a tackle, I noticed that the players arm actually went below the playing field.. But those are extremely small details that really don't affect the game play in any way. If I were to rate this game ona scale from one to ten, it would easily get a 9.5. I absolutely love this game!

The only type of games that i play are sports games, FPS games and racing games.
I find that out of these 3 that the sports games are alot more exciting but they dont always last as long because after a while you've either completed the game or the game has become outdated (new season, new players on teams etc.)

My favourite sports game is FIFA 08! its an amazing game and i absolutely love football so it suits me fine!

FIFA 09 should be coming out in a few months with the new season starting in a month and a half so im gonna get it and will probably recommend you getting it too!
