I would start with a good book from o'reiley or whiley publishers... but here is what I use from online resources:
[+] for html good place to start is www.w3c.org [+] for php and other scripting languages try at www.hotscripts.com you can learn alot from actualy finished scripts...
Personally, I would recommend W3Schools. It really is a very comprehensive resource and research site for all kinds of programming languages like html, php, javascript, css and so on. The explanations are very clear, and it's very useful for newbies like me for referencing. Check it out: http://www.w3schools.com/. I highly recommend it. There are also server side languages like SQL, ASP, and so on.

The author goes into a lot of the more advanced stuff (scripting, etc.) but he starts with the simple stuff for visitors who, like me at the time I first started going there, had absolutely no idea of what was going on. It's worth at least a quick look. |
