Site Unavailable! - Server Timeout error!

Not really a hosting question, but I couldn't find anywhere better to stick this. So: The
Latest Activity list at the bottom of the screen is showing up links from the past. Specifically the
Last Topic column, actually, as the Last Post seems to be fine. If you're not getting the same
problem, here's a screenshot . Basically all of the links in Last Topic are from way back

I’m starting to get a complex because my site, ycoderscookbook.com is down again. I hate to SPAM
the forums like this but I have a support ticket submitted and have not head anything in three days.
From what I am seeing, the Gamma server is up but for some reason the DNS is not resolving to the
domain. Ycoderscokbook.com has been down since Friday. Perhaps one of the admins can look into

Ever since yesterday, I wasn't able to access my site http://maxotek.net , so I tried
others' sites like http://www.handyphp.com , none of which opened. I've tried PINGing the
sites and have received no response as yet. I've heard that there were some changes to the IP
addresses for the shared IPs. Just a while ago, I heard from a friend of mine that he was able to
access the sites. Another one reported of a Gateway Timeout error. Do I need to make some changes
in the CPanel or will this be solved automatically?...

Alright, this is becoming a major problem. For the past few days, the Gamma server has been
overloading a lot. The server has reached a load peak of 14.92 thus disabling services like PHP, CGI
and have even shut down MySQL once. This is as big of a problem as XBOX Live having problems from
the past few days. At the time of writing, Gamma's httpd has crashed. Just as a
suggestion, Astahost needs to update the HTTP server software, Apache 1.3.33 is ancient. The latest
stable version is 2.2.6. xboxrulz...

However, when i try and load my website....it says that it cannot find the server. Anybody else
experiencing this?...

Apparently when I just checked the server today (because it kept not allowing connections), the

the MySQL Server after the server problems!! I'm using phpBB forum for my site, and it often
shows some error message after losing connection with the Database server! Its happening many times
in a minute! Its not at all stable after the server issues! I had tried repairing the databases and

I keep seeing messages in the shoutbox that there are issues with the server and cPanel. If this is
true, then why hasn't anyone made a post about it? To begin with, I have no control over the
server so complaining to me or in the shoutbox doesn't help. None of the staff has control over
the server so they can try and contact those that do but in the end, we really need a post about the
problems. The shoutbox simply has too short of a life span for reporting problems. So please

Its been awhile since I updated my webpage through front page (maybe 6 months). Since then a lot
has changed on my system; a new computer and firewall. I tried to do a synchronize through
FrontPage for the past week and I keep getting timeout errors. I’m just checking to see if there is

I went to check out my site today and low and behold, some spyware try loading itself and some .wmv
file tryed to run from the main page.... I was like "wtf mate lol", anyway I went into my cpanel
file manager and checked out the index files source and someone has managed to add an iframe to the

I just tried to visit my site to see if anything had changed on my forums and such and I got this

Hello, I use multibyte functions to split a string by letter and I was wondering if you could turn
them on again, because they were on before the server shift (and they are in PHP by default) and now
I get fatal errors, when trying to use them. In the Phpinfo they don't appear at all.. I've

First let me say that I am upset at the moment, so if this comes across that way, do not take it
personally. This may be a simple mistake somewhere, but I am very confused and frustrated. I found
this site, built up about 20 credits, and applied for a basic site (cost, 10 credits). Over the
