hi, i'm trying to make an account for free hosting and after filling in the form I get this from bellow. can anyone tell me what I did wrong? do i have to wait more? anyway, it sais i'm supposed to contact the administrator: "There were problems creating your account! Please Contact Administrator." how do i do this? QUOTE

I sincerely apologize for your inconvenience. Just few hours ago we spotted issues with cPanel on gamma server (where all free web hosting accounts are established). Yes, looks like you'll need to wait until we can resolve this matter. I hope this will be resolved by tomorrow or earlier. I'll try to keep you and everybody up to date.

Let's see if an admin is around here, and let's ask this admin have a look and see if the account has been partly created. If I suppose correctly, then an admin will have to first delete the account, and then you will be able to create the account again.

I saw some posts that their are some minor bugs in the cpanel update concerning new folders being added under the cpanel. So wait patiently and you should be able to get your hosting account applications filled out and submitted.

hi, I see you have the same problem as I do. I reported this problem to one of the forum's admins and this was the answer I got: QUOTE
I'm very sorry to inform you that at this time there isn't anything I can do to solve this problem. The system which is in place for new hosting account creation is not working with the most recent upgrade of the cPanel. The cPanel upgrade was required to fix other issues.
I'm not sure how much longer the system will be down. The Server Admin is currently studying for his midterm exams. While I understand that this is an inconvienience for you, I must remind you that this is a free service and the Server Admin is paying the bill so when he says that he can't get to it today, we usually don't argue with him.
I don't think this will be much longer. Your username being reset will not solve the problem. The error message is just the creation system trying to cope with the idea that it isn't working correctly.
We will inform you via the forum once the system is opperational again.

I'm not happy at all either.... seems like I waisted a lot of time here with no results, since I have no hosting yet!!!  If you solve this problem before me, please send me a PM thx, anewgame

As far as I know, the system was fixed on October 24th. If it is true that there are still problems then you need to update me with a PM as soon as possible. Please try your creation process once again and let be know what happens. Other members have been getting their accounts created without any problems. vujsa

Hosting Approved But Unable To Register
Alongwith a little question on service! (3) I requested my web hosting account a few days ago and got it as approved but I am surprised as I am
unable to register with an error message showing that the sub-domain (amitbhandari.astahost.com)
doesnot exist, however I have already sent this sub-domain name as a request. Please help me and
let me know whether it takes some time to get registered after being approved. Also, I looked on
homepage of astahost and found that SSH is available. It is going to be very useful to me as I am
a dial-up user and this will help me uploading files in compressed format and de-com....

Unable to find any button / link (6) Hi ! How can I edit a post once I've dispatched it? In most forums that I know of, there's
a link or a button that allows me to do so, but try as I might I just can't seem to find it
here... I've tried switching between the 2 skins available - LITE & AMBIENCE but to no avail.
