Two Problems.

Ok first problem, I can't connect to certain websites. Ones specifically is http://www.montages4you.com. The error that Firefox returns is that I can't connect to the server. I've checked my connection, its fine. I've reset my router, talked to the site host to make sure its not down. Asked OTHER people to find out if it will load for them, which it will. But I can't connect to it! Seriously guys, I need help on this. :/

Also, second problem. I bought this program a while ago called Game Maker. And I try to re activate it but for some reason, the activation page wont load! Liek, wtf gaiz? Here is a screeny;


Can anyone help with either of these problems? Thanks in advance.

I am able to view the site. But it loads very slow.

I am in NY and the ping average time is 491ms. Holy cow! That's a slow loading time. Who's hosting server is this?

I'm not sure who's hosting his site, but I know the site manager says its fine for him so, I dunno what the problem is.

No problems here. It could be a faulty Windows installation. Have you tried reinstalling the system?

What version of Windows are you running?

I'm running XP, but its weird, no computer in my house can see the site. Not even on a different persons connection.

Nero Disk Space Question...
Two Problems.

I'm using Nero Vision 4 to create a DVD. When I create the project, with the menu, just before clicking the Burn Project burron, it says the project size is 2.4 of available 4.43 and yet, after waiting the 2+ hours to encode it, it comes back and says the disk is too small... I have selected DVD.

Has anyone run into this problem? Starting to tick me off here...

    I have a problem when trying to burn audio cd's with Nero. When I reach the place where it asks
    me to "add" what I want to burn, it doubles the size of what I am burning. In other words if what I

    I used msconfig to delete a couple non-essential programs from the startup. I've done this many
    times before and never had problems with it. However, the other day I tried it and when I rebooted
    my computer, almost nothing worked. Flash drives wouldn't recognize, the sound card in device
    manager was supposedly working properly, but if i tried to play anything it would tell me there was
    no sound card installed. The system slowed to a crawl, my virus scan, firewall, and pgp wouldn't

    noramlly computer is mine but there are 3 users, like on every computer here. When you start up yiu

    I have had to sign up for dial up again due to my new place of residence not having broadband as
    yet. I installed a brand new modem purchased from PC World in the uk (yeah i know bad place to buy

    The other day my computer went into it's little energy save setting where the screen goes black.
    When I touched the mouse to get the screen back on(like always) nothing happened. I heard the
    computer running but no screen. So I rebooted the computer. When it came back online, desktop icons

    I just bought a new FireLite UBS Portable Hard Drive and I did everything that the directions told
    me to do: plug the USB cord in the computer and the FireLite PHD, flip the switch to USB (so that it
    will take power from the computer). I am using a Mac PowerBook G4 with OS X 10.3.8 I don't know
    if the hard drive is defective or what. I don't have this problem with other hard drives that
    take power from the USB port I don't know if I should but the power adaptor or not. If anyone
    can help me I would appreciate it.....

    I bought a 16x internal DVD +/- RW/ +/-R Dual Layer I/O Magic drive a few months ago. I am having
    some troubles getting the drive to read and burn at anything above 4x. I currently have Windows XP
    Home Edition installed on my PC. If anyone has any ideas as to why my drive doesnt seem to want to
    work at top speed please let me know. Thanks alot....
