| | Hi, I just recently downloaded and began using Mozilla's Firefox 1.6 as my web browser, but for some reason, whenever I try to go to a site that uses a Flash plugin, Mozilla refuses to let me download the plugin. I mean, it tries, but it never works. Does anyone else have the same problem with Mozilla or have heard of this happening? its not that big of a deal, because I can still use Internet Explorer, but Mozilla is just much safer in general, so I'd rather use that. Any advice, answers or ideas would be very welcome. thanks in advance. |

Hi... there is something not right with that version of yours... if this is version 1.6, download official Firefox from Mozilla, rather that using this version... if not, so it is good ok... you say you cannot get flash plugin to work... I remember that my Firefox wasn't able to initialize flash plugin when I moved form Mozilla suite - the answer was - remove .mozilla folder for all home folders of all users... there are old configuration files that was causing this behavior for me... but make sure you make a copy of importand to you bookmarks and all settings of that kind... I think that this may be something like thai what happend to me... hope this helps...

Firefox Performance Stats
(3) Hi all, Does anyone know where I can get hold of performance stats on how long Firefox take to open
really large websites (like > 500k of xhtml). I have done some initial tests with a page of around
1MB and found that Firefox just stops for about 5mins while it gets over the shock. I could go
though and test a lot more combinations, but I hoping to find some performance tests that show the
point where Firefox starts to degrade. Cheers, Hoopa....

Recently, my dad's website has been experiencing problems. You see, he has one of these

to WYSIWYG editing). He usually only 30 online visitors at any one time, but just recently, he
noticed there to be around 300 visitors. Definitely those "flooders". What the communist....

Netbux.org : Real Or Fake ? Problems & Flaws
(0) Hi, Yesterday someone had made a post about this referral + search site name netbux.org that pays

another popular engine, which you get to pick from a dropdown box along with your search string.
Ever since then, I've faced quite a few problems with them: 1. Not all searches get counted
properly - this might be a flaw of their script. They do say that repeated searches ....
