Hi all, I was trying to upload some files to my account using cpanel! There was no problem in the beginning! But suddently it shows one error message as: Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operation has been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.(Edit: Authentication is working fine! After authentication only, ith shows the error message like this! ) Please check this one: http://cpanel.niranvv.com(Edit: I'm using cPanel Proxy for accessing the Control panel without specifying the port addrss! http://cpanelproxy.net/ ) I dont know whats went wrong, is it the problem with the server or is it for my account only!  But sites are working fine without any problem! Whats wrong with the server? Is it running out of disk space! Admins, please try to solve the problem fast! Regards, Niran

I have the same problem. My cpanl accepts my login and password, and then I have an error message saying : QUOTE Sorry for the inconvenience!

It is unclear at the moment if the space is really running out or being allocated for something else. All hosting servers have more than adequate space and should not be running out of any space. Until I know it further please be patient. Server admins have been contacted as of this post.

Unfortunately, we also want to show that we are active, that's why we post as soon as we see something. So, don't take it bad. Take it cool, be cause Niran an I take it cool. You know, sometimes we are happy being the customer, instead being the system administrator having to solve all the problems.

UPDATE Due to a time zone difference OpaQue will not get the support message until later tonight (EDT, GMT-4) around 11pm. It seems that "/" directory for gamma server is full, according to the report. Hosting members are under "/home" directory and it's not even 30% used... So my speculation is that "/" is used for dump or cache (not too sure). But OpaQue will fix this as soon as possible.

well, maybe the system just locked that space.. i use to have that problem before.. anyway.. it is the control panel that is affected and so far i think cpanel is somewhere around "/" and that directory or partition may the one that is running out of space.. we are patient.. we wont get hosted if we are not.. cheers... -----------

Yeah i can wait too, the main thing is that our sites are still working but some things can only be done by cpanel. Hope you guys fix it soon -HellFire

Unable to Send or Receive (5) Ever since the server move (migration, relocation, whatever you want to call it) I've had a
problem with both sending and receiving emails. I use Microsoft Outlook Express as my email

Full Disk Usage Warning In Cpanel
(7) A few minutes ago I received an automated mail notifying me about 109.68% (548.38 Megs) of disk
space used by my hosting account. It was extremely surprising because I have not uploaded anything
in a while. Nevertheless, I went back to CPanel and looked into the Disk Usage Viewer. It could only
account for ~295 MBs. While, I can free up quite a bit of space from the Trash directory, I am

Getting Strange Problems
(6) Hi, I was surfing around the astahost pages today when I came across a strange error. When i hit the
back button in the browser (Firefox) i get a page full of random numbers, letters and symbols. I
have attached a copy of it in a text document if anyone wants to try and make any sense of it (i
couldn't). I was browsing around the programming forums if it is something specific there! I
have never seen this before - but it doesn't look like a database error! could it be something

Strange Error (maybe Directoryindex Glitch?)
(6) So if I browse to my site, www.ethergeek.com it takes me to a download window which proceeds to
download the PHP page from the server. If I type www.ethergeek.com/index.php the page loads as
expected. This happens in other folders too...it almost seems like if the server looks at
DirectoryIndex parameter it doesn't pass the page through the php preprocessor... Any ideas?....

Mysql Connect Error, Too Many Connections.
(1) Just to begin with I want to say that I am not here necessarily to complain about it lol. I'm
not sure but if my site is possibly helping to contribute to the problem, I'd like to know if
anyone knows any good articles or tutorials that might have information on what to look out for that
could contribute to these sort of problems. I know my site may not have anything to do with it (as
I don't think it is overly popular or anything or even close), but knowing what to look out for
when messing with PHP/mySQL would be great. I personally haven't found too....

(13) During the last month, I've added two addon domains to my account. This is the setup: 1.

Mysql Error Never Seen On My Site Before (too Many Connections).
(13) I just tried to visit my site to see if anything had changed on my forums and such and I got this

Space Usage..
Question about space usage after deleting some stuffs using cpanel (3) Can anyone tell me how space usage is computed in the cpanel.. When i check, the control panel yank
at me that i was using 150MB of space.. so i was full and i need some data more to upload.. what i
have done is modify the code and erase my entire ftp account for files.. but the control panel still
says i was on full usage.. no files in the trash and i also use the explorer for web space usage in
the cpanel but still.. the total usage is merely at 7mb.. including the emails.. -- can someone

Server Timeout error! (7) My Astahost Website seems to be unavailable currently. The Time is : 4:15 PM IST (GMT+5:30hrs)
The browser gives a "Server Timeout Error". Is this a temporary server downtime, or do I have to

Problems With PHP/Joomla On Hosted Site
PHP sevred pages are blank in Firefox, network error in Safari (9) I am having some odd problems with my hosted site. They started sometime yesterday. I have not made
any changes for about two weeks. In Firefox, the index page (index.php) for Joomla comes up blank.
I can access my Control Panel and can check that the files are there and look correct. No favorites
icon is displayed either and the page source is empty. In Safari, I get the favorites icon but then
get a network error and a blank page ("Safari can’t open the page “http://mistymanor.astahost.com/”.

Wrong Password/username - Fatal Error In Horde
(5) I keep getting a fatal error when trying to check my webmail using Horde, through the CPanel. Also,
when I try to open PhpMyAdmin I get an error saying "Wrong username/password. Access denied."
However, I'm logged into CPanel fine, and after getting this error I changed my password. That

Can't Access The Cpanel!
Please help! (7) I just got an Astahost account and did everything it said I should do. I then went to the homepage
of my new site and saw the page saying that my account had been created successfully and
instructions on how to reach the cPanel. But when I tryed to go to the cPanel, it comes up with a

Unzip Files In Cpanel?
Can files be unzipped in cPanel? (6) Hi, I just got my new hosting account and was wondering if I can upload a zip file and get it
unzipped in the server? Normally I wouldn't mind unzipping and sending it using FTP, but
sometimes I'm somewhere else (like my workplace) and they don't allow FTP. Uploading the
files one by one is going to be tedious since my zip files usually have almost 100 files or more.
