| | Hello, i just want to tell every one here about this game maker that i have been using for a year or so well it is free but you can also reg'it. you can make just about anything rpg's orpg's mmorpg's maze games anything and the best thing is even your grandmother could make games thats how easy things can be.

Hrm, that looks interesting. Though for what I'd like to do, if I used GameMaker, I'd have to use the registered version. I'm looking for the ability to create multiplayer networked 3D games. Though not necessarily rpg. Thanks for the info  -YB

yea well i hope to see your games sometime maybe on the GMC btw it sounds like you have been reading a lot about it i have to say it is so easy but you can use stuff that is harder like if your making mmorpgs it would be easyer to use a mmorpg maker but i like gm beter name: game_maker_dude

Game maker is ok. I've tried to use it but I never really held my attention for that long(no surprise there  ). One of the biggest things that annoyed me was that all the games I tried to play lagged the crap out of me. Even with nothing else running I still got lagged to death. Except for that major reason it is a decent game maker. I recomend you try it if your interested in those kinds of things. I'm the only one who seems to experiance harsh lag from those games anyway so don't let that stop you from having fun.

This look's great! I already have a game maker but that's only for RPGs, a game maker like this will really help me. (RPGs get boring after so long) I don't like the idea of having a gamemaker logo right there while running a game but ah well, it's free.

Making Educational Game
3d game, like walking in country (4) Please, i would like to make a progra/game like walking in a country, visiting houses. Specially
church is in my mind. with some music(in church religious)..... or, but its not so important -
meeting people and talking with them. I cant say, but something between RPG and adventure, maybe
with some small missions like finding cross, or old pergamen.... but in 3D. Maybe i can download
some 3d models from net, so 3d modeling is not required for this tool. Just engine - with physics,
colisions detect, maybe water effect, but not so important, then i need no so many programmi....
Classic Games Revisited
(8) The new game systems are great and all, awsome graphics, smooth gameplay. But how many people here
remember the good old days of the Atari 2600? Ahh, Adventure and Astroids were my favorite games.
I would play them for hours. I recently had a descussion with a friend of mine about the atari
while my kids were around, and they looked at us like we were crazy. We told them, "If it
wasn't for the Atari, you wouldn't have any games like you do now!" It's funny really
to see those old games. I pulled my old atari out of the closet last week. It still works....

Old Skool Games
(17) Who here loves some of the old skool games? Frogger was awesome... so simply but so addictively
fun... and the old mario's were great. I ABSOLUTELY adored my old sega master system with games
like alex the kidd and sonic the hedgehog who wouldn't? There there were even further back the
old BBC's with games like granny's garden and Dinosaur Discovery! Aaaaaahh... So nice to

Anyone Miss The Old Super Nintendo And Sega Games
(23) Does anyone miss the old Super Nintendo system and the video games? I sure do miss it. I grew up
playing Nintendo then Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. I think those games were very fun and
entertaining such as Yosies Island, Super Mario, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, NBA Jam, and Zelda.
I miss playing those games. Although Playstation, Gamr Cube, and X Box are better in graphics I
still don't get the fun out of those games as much as I used to on the old systems. The old
gaming systems have this special connection and I had much more fun playing the old games ....

The Best Freeware Game
Free games you can download (22) Anyone play freeware games? I do sometimes and maybe no one else does. This might be a stupid
topic but I was wondering if anyone knew of some good freeware games. There are alot of horrible
free games out there and very few good ones. However, I have found a few good ones. Such as:
Eternal Daughter Cave Story Streambolt Destruction Carnival etc. If you want to download these I
could find you some download addresses but you could also easily find them at gamehippo.com or by
searching for them in a search engine. Maybe I'm the only one in this forum who plays ....

you roll a ball around and pick up all kinds of stuff... Play it to see it. Only $20! AH is a
classic 2d side scrolling shooter. All hand animated. Lots of violence and near infinate reply
value. It's a remake of a flash game on www.newgrounds.com but the console game has more
levels/stuff to do and is somewhat easier and tons more fun. Its $30....
