does anyone know if nintendo makes or plans on making the old games for gamecube? mario, duckhunt, hogan's alley.. you know it's practically impossible to get a game to work on NES because it's so old and dusty.. they need to make the exact same games, nothing different, for the gamecube so we can relive the classics again!

true, there's gonna be 20 years of gaming history on the revolution, NES, SNES, N64 and gamecube. the first four will be downlaodable, and the last ones you need to buy... there's also the possibility that you get a game with a game, like super mario 64 with super mario 128
The Nintendo Revolution should be able to play all the games of the GameCube and you can download all the games of the other Nintendo consoles, even the SNES and NES.

To answer your question.....
No, dont expect much else to come from the gamecube. Any remakes that they would be planning would be headed to revolution at this point as the gamecube is a shelfwarmer in most countries. The actual Revolution will play Classic Nintendo games, so you will get a chance to play the older versions again(you will have to pay for them again aswell) but they wont have updated gfx or gameplay out of the box. Its been said that some games will also be free with the newer Revolution games, this is still a rumour and some of the comments nintendo made recently have helped me decided that I realy doubt they will give away very many free games. Likely just with AAA titles.
Last bit of info for ya....non Nintendo classics are not likley to all be available and if they are they very well may costs an arm and a leg to purchase.
Well, another way you can relive those classics is by going to the mall and buying one of those "5000+ games" controller things. They plug directly into your t.v. and use either batteries or an AC adapter. They don't really have 5000+ games but if you get the one with the little gun in it you can play duck hunt, mario, dig dug and alot of other great games. Oh, even contra... I love contra...
Anyways, thats my two cents I don't know if you have those at your mall but they try to sell them all the time at ours.

Don't throw away your old nintendo games go to half.Com website and you can buy the nes system for $10.00 plus $14.94 s/h. I purchased it because my old system is a problem just like yours. This is a new system and it works.
Some games tend to be so absorbing that it's hard to put them down and just carry on your daily
routine as if nothing happened. Every once in a while you'll find that even the quirkiest
elements of a game have permeated your mind and warped your perception of reality somewhat.

The reason I bring this up is because of all the sheer useless posts in the gaming forums. As a
moderator I kinda get sick trying to keep an eye on all the crappy posts that mainly new
users post in the gaming side of the forums. To me these are "Cheap" posts and a lot of people spam
one liners on this side of the forums to gain credits only to find that when they post a request to
be hosted that they are denied. Trap 17 has a gaming forum which is also filled with endless debates
about how much Runescape sucks or how much Halo "roxers" does Astahost need this kind of ....

What is it that makes you enjoy playing games? Some people love the mental stimulation that word
games or puzzles provide. Other people love to play mindless little addictive games that pass the
time between periods of activity and yet still others play in order to have a friendly (or sometimes
not so friendly) competition among friends. But no matter why it is that you play the games that you
play they can be so addictive that you find yourself taking up most of your day playing them. Here
is a breakdown on why people play games, perhaps you will be able to fit yourself....
Hi... I have a suggestion. What do you guys think about a sub-category in the main Games section
dealing only with tips & tricks on playing games at the highest difficulty level. I'm not
referring to cheatcodes here. No unlimited amount of money, extra life or extra troops here. Just
using the "normal" resources allocated to you and then completing the mission at the highest
difficulty level. For example, there might be a precious artifact somewhere or a better fortified
place to position your base... something like that. Basically, you can say that it is about shari....

QUOTE Violent computer games may make people more likely to act aggressively, a study says.
Previous research has found people who play such games are more likely to be aggressive but some say
this just shows violent people gravitate towards them. But a team from the University of
Missouri-Columbia said their study which monitored the brain activity of 39 game players suggests a
causal link. The findings were published on the New Scientist website. Hmm conclusive evidence
as shown by the may make people more likely only may? well thast hardly a conclusion o....

I was just wondering what everyone would put down as the greatest game of all time. I personally
would rate Final Fantasy 7 as my all time favorite, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree.
Here are my reasons for this: 1. for its time it had really stellar graphics and the movies were
the bomb. 2. Very inventive story line with a lot of side quests going on and things to do. 3.
Very likeable characters like Cloud and that vampire dude. 4. The game itself didn't feel
confining and you were free to explore a lot. 5. As you progressed through the game ....

I hate them. Think of how movies are..they are like video games. A bad ending to a movie just ruins
it, even though the movie overall was good, kinda like video games. So in the case of video games,
its just even worse because a game takes up more of your time than a movie does. One game for
example is: X-Men Legends I liked the game overall before I saw the ending. After the ending I
hated it. I spent a lot of time playing this game and was expecting a decent ending and all I got
was crap. The end credits could of at least had some music in it. I can't believe I w....
If you game online, there's always going to be some point or another where you're going to
run into cheats and hacks. Whether you're the one using them, the one having them used on, or
some guy laughing or cursing on the sidelines, it's become something that we all have to deal
with in some form or another. I personally don't care for them; if people want to use them, I
think more servers where cheats are not only accepted but are encouraged should be set up. However,
sometimes while I'm playing, I'll just be TOTALLY aced, and I'm wonderi....
What do you seek in a game? Graphics? Good storyline? And when is too much, too much? I personally
think there is too much graphics in today's games, and it seems to be a epidemic within the
devloping community that more graphics means better games, which is defiantly not true. You just
need to looks at DOOM 3 and see how much of a dud it was. Nice graphics, but poor AI, gameplay etc.
sent DOOM 3 crashing into obvilion. You look at games like Natural-Selection, which uses the HL
engine (which is 6 or so years old) and how it has become more popular independent Half-....
