Mambo Cms - Unwriteable

bob3695
I just installed the mambo CMS and I try to edit the configuration file but it say "Unwriteable". How do make it writeable? It also says when I go in template install
media/ Unwriteable
administrator/templates/ Unwriteable
templates/ Unwriteable
images/stories/ Unwriteable

What do I have to do?

You have to chmod the files which are unwritable, if in doubt try 777. Mambo should tell you which files need to be writable, you have to change permissions for these files/directories with your ftp-program. After this everything will work out fine.
