mac is beautiful with desige. . .better than windows. but windows are useful, because most of the software are created for windows only, more supports.

Windows is better in my opinion, and most video games that are for Windows usually cost much more when made for Mac.

im would have to go with windows because there is an abundance of software available and almost all games are windows only to begin with. macs definetely have my pick when it comes to design tho.

yes mac is more beautiful, more secure etc... but id rather use windows and chew up those exploits in exchange to millions of softwares I could use/install/download in it..

WINDOWS WINDOWS WINDOWS Its the best, i love it like a child, its nice to look at, fast and useful, programs are easy to come by, supported by a multi-billion pound company, i mean come on, whoi couldnt love it. Plus Visual Basic (A windows prgramming language) is real easy to use unlike C++, im still a novice at programming.

Mac Pro: Best for photo designers and video editing; more secure than win; faster Cons: very expensive; very few softwares available Windows Pro: Many softwares; cheaper; customizable Cons: Not so secure; easier to crash; interface is harder to learn than Mac Me? I use both.

Windows hard to leanr, yeah right windows is easy. Mac isnt as stable as everyone claims, its because mac is built for people with patience which is something i dont have.

QUOTE Anyway, I already have Norton, Spybot, and Adaware, as well Spyware Blaster and Spy Sweeper. I'm no dummy when it comes to Internet security.
...You seem to be under the impression that there is something wrong with my computer. There is not. My experience with Windows XP (SP2) has been rarely, if ever, buggy. Lol... If that were true (the part about there being nothing wrong with your computer, and winXP sp2 not being buggy), you would not need to use Norton, Adware, Spybot, spyware blaster, and spybot....

QUOTE Mac OS is very stable but it does not have the variety of application available like windows. well, outside games, I find that while the Mac has fewer programs for any given task, the programs it has are at least as good if not better than those on the PC. Also, all the big software packages have mac versions. Finally, for some jobs the mac is easily the best there is, for instance: video editing.

I chose Windows. It's because there are currently many available running applications for Windows. Mac OS is very stable but it does not have the variety of application available like windows. And Windows can be installed to a clone pc.

Symantec: Windows Is Most Secure Os
(21) QUOTE Symantec: Windows is Most Secure OS hackers.jpgIn a report that surprises even the PC
lovers around here (read: me), Symantec has listed Microsoft Windows as the most secure OS out
there. They claim that Windows had the fewest number of patches and the shortest patch development
time of any OS, including Mac, Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX (any HP-UX fanboys in the house?).
So what in the hell is going on? We've been spoon-fed all this data that says Windows is about
as secure as a screen door while Macs are perfectly safe, yet OS X came in 3rd in the ....

eye-candies, I simply can't stop staring at them. I hate stuff that are boring and blah. I like
crystal like stuff, all around... Maybe that's why I like KDE more.. w/e. - seems to be more

Windows Vs. Linux, Old, But New?
(11) This is quite an old topic, but I am here to relate my experience. I wanted to start a new thread
cause is feel there are many out there like me with similar experiences. But first, a background -
I've been using windows for over 7 years now, right from 95 to xp pro here. (the only version is
skipped was 2000 and me) I have become the proverbial 'guru' in my area - if there was
anything related about computers, it had to be me. Then, I heard about linux. I wanted to try it
out, but was shy. But then, 1 month ago I got an opportunity to test it out when window....

everything: play games, working with graphics, audio, video... - TONS of viruses, some stability
issues. Linux + I haven't tried it, but I have heard it works awesome for servers. Few (or
none) virus. No Hardware compatibility issues. - Quite poor compatibility. Few gr....

of peoples to search in the papers and rubbishes of Microsoft and find Codes of Microsoft, and
found important information . Then we can see that the security of a network is depend of many
factors that we may don't care about those. Windows and Linux have weaknesses in security, but
