I have been a member of Live Journal a few years longer than I have myspace. I thought that since I got a code from one of my friends to this site, that it would be a big deal. And I really did and still do enjoy LJ. I gave my code to my wife, at the time were really good friends. yeah.. i'm not into xanga and livejournal and all those sites.. i'm too private, plus no one really cares about my life. lol. but myspace is interesting, you can find people everywhere, network, and they do have blogs too, so there's a lot of things you can do with it, it's not just for the sole purpose of journals. i'm addicted to it
I don't really know which one, since I'm not using Myspace to write a journal. I kind of a private person. I use Myspace to get connected with my friends. Well, if you like to publised your life, you could use the journal in Myspace, but I prefer Diary-X, since I can make a certain entry to be private. So I can put my private thought there without people reading it.
Which one to use I think depends mainly on what your friends use. It is easy to link to other journals/blogs on the same service, but harder between services. You could also select based on features. One feature to look at is whether there are client programs for posting to the service, that may be easier than the web interface. I know Livejournal has such programs.
I personally, I prefer myspace because of the whole music aspect. It's great for finding local bands, and it makes you feel a little "closer" (for lack of a better word) to your favorite bands since 90% have myspace accounts. My little brother's band setup a myspace account and a week and a half later one of their songs got played on the radio because of all the exposure they got. So all in all, I pick myspace. Oh, and anohter very important aspect... It's a hell of a lot easier to get a myspccount than a livejournal. I remember begging people for 3 months to get a damn LJ code, and ended up never getting one
Sunblind, by the way, livejournal does not go by ljcodes anymore, it is an "apply" and get an account thing now. They did away with the whole lj-code thing a few years back... Just for your information.
Yea myspace just seems to have livejournal beat hands down. I've always hated live journal... just never liked any of the stuff I've seen there so...myspace woo!
I honestly prefer livejournal. Alot less people read it, and there's better restriction on who can read who's journal.
MySpace defeats the purpose of having a journal. Because having a journal is supposed to help you vent and get your thoughts down. But if everybody's reading it, then it kind of eliminates the purpose of having personal thoughts, cuz everybody just knows what you're thinking now  .Although I do give myspace props. They've brought the online community closer together. And MySpace is also a personal website. So now everybody can say they own a part of the internet .I for one will be sticking to Lj though. Psh to conformity. On a side note: *Is adding a poll*
myspace i think...there are so many more people on myspace, either that or its easier to network.

Myspace was fun for me when I went back to college a few years ago. A few school buds were playing around on myspace and my brother actually added me to start off the boom that was myspace. Now I use it to network and find people I haven't seen in over 10 years, add family members and more. On both it was fun finding the right look for each and continuing with HTML additions to each also. Then they began to seperate as I would blog more on LJ and just go crazy with videos and my playlist on myspace. But I still do both and get out a lot from each still.
What is livejournal, is that like another blog? Never heard of it before been a myspace addict since 2004, Facebook is whack, Hi5 sucks, cPixel was aight but that is for them youngsters quit going there.
I prefer myspace because of the different features and customizations. Livejournal used to play a big role in my life during my early years of high school. Both are really great its just that livejournal is well more of a journal whereas myspace is an online community. Complete with friends. pics, blogs, music, comments and bulletins. Livejournal has its limitations whereas myspace is never ending you can change it with your moods if you wish.
I don't like any of them either(Never heard of it o.o)...I only like to make website/sigs though xD...
I dont really like any of them . cause im not into making blogs about myself . Although Blogger is a good tool for blogs . I mostly like making anime fansites !
