You need to get 50 good posts and request for account upgradation, then u will get jsp and servlet support (Why so? because jsp uses more CPU resources)

JSP is supported by astahost, I am unfamiliar with jsp but all I can say is that you should check your syntax or whatever to make sure your code is of profficient quality.
