QUOTE (cryptwizard @ Dec 20 2004, 11:30 PM) I have joined this webhost as I saw on the front page that it supported JSP. However, I got this simple JSP script from a tutorial and it won't work. Can anyone tell me why? The Script: http://stats.cw.astahost.com/index.jsp You need to get 50 good posts and request for account upgradation, then u will get jsp and servlet support (Why so? because jsp uses more CPU resources) Cheers Arunkumar.H.G
Then whats with:
QUOTE 20 megs of space 500 Mb Monthly Control Panel Admin Support JSP,CGI, PHP Posts: 10 I should get JSP as well.
sorry.. my mistake. I will change it. JSP is only for members who have 50 Good Posts.
Now, I've upgraded by account, but JSP still won't work:
See reference in first post.
what should we see when we enter:
because a i see: http://stats.cw.astahost.com/index.jsp QUOTE Hello! The time is now in that url... is that right???
It currently says:
QUOTE Hello! The time is now <%= new java.util.Date() %> If JSP was working, <%= new java.util.Date() %> should have been replaced with the time.
Anyone?
JSP is supported by astahost, I am unfamiliar with jsp but all I can say is that you should check your syntax or whatever to make sure your code is of profficient quality.
