| | This is possibly the best looking mp3 player out there. Sure it does not have the best storage capacity but it sure has a sleek feel in terms of the design. It is what the iphone is but worth the price. Because it offers free wireless internet browsing connection. It offers the users or consumers the ability to use the iphone key selling features with out the hassle of going on a monthly plan. This indeed is the best idea apple has released thus far for the price and tech item out there right now. If I had the temptation to buy it I would but currently I am waiting till apple upgrade its storage capacity. I hope eventually in the future apple would let users just upgrade their own storage capacity instead of having to by the player over and over again as they release the new storage capacity. But in a business world, which it is and is what they are they will probably never do that type of thing, just to get their franchise for this tech item to grow. |

However, the key selling aspect isn't the iPod functionality but really for its phone function. Else, what really makes an iPhone an iPhone? It's its interface and features. xboxrulz

My friend lent me his Ipod touch for the weekend. I found it really awesome simply because its portable (like most ipods Duh) and it is MUCH SIMPLER to use than an I pod. The bad point is storage cause it isnt much and the other bad point is that it is expensive. I reccomend that you wait a while before buying one as the prices will surely drop.

(11) QUOTE Apple Computer Inc. on Tuesday lauched a new 1-GB iPod nano, priced at $149. The new
iPod nano is distinctive in the company's device lineup for its ultrathin design, which Apple
boasts is thinner than a pencil. The nano is sharply discounted from the 4-gigabyte and
2-gigabyte iPod nanos currently available on the market. The company also said it is cutting
prices on 512 MB and 1 GB iPod shuffles to $69 and $99, respectively. Before the price cuts, a 512
MB shuffle could cost roughly $100, while a 1 GB shuffle could cost about $129. "....

Apple Ipod: Trademark Issues
(6) I just read this in Maximum PC, December 2005 issue that "sellers of iPod-related accessories were
recently forced to remove the music-device's trademarked name from product names and website
URLs. Thus, iPodlounge.com, for example, must now be called iLounge.com. Sellers were also" told how
they can refer to Apple products, "...including the demand that the iPod always be referred to as an
Apple iPod Device." How about that? I always thought that Microsoft would be the first to enforce
something like this for their trademarked names... haha.. go Apple.. /tongue.....
Ipod Video Player Unveiled Today
Unveiled @ Apple's 'One More Thing' show (13) I'm not suprised that they finally showed the video Ipod today. Many people for the past few
years have been wildly speculating that Apple would pull this card. Link to the story here:
Bloomberg At first I came to believe that watching videos on a display this small would not be
worth it. The smallest thing I would have watched anything on was maybe a small laptop. But what got
me excited about this Ipod was rumors about buying episodes of your favorite TV shows through Itunes
for cheap prices, around 1.99 for each one. Imagine watching the Wire or your favorite....
Apple's New Products Sep 2005
iPod Nano, ROKR iTunes phone (19) Last week, Apple introduced two new products - the new and very sleek & slim iPod Nano and the
so-called "iPod Phone" (officially the Motorola ROKR) that will debut in the US and other areas in
association with telecom giant Cingular Wireless. First, here's the dope on the device that is
in all likelihood be more useful to me than the other - the iPod Nano. An ultra-thin style and a
height not more than that of a regular pencil make the Nano stand out from the rest of the pack.
Apple devices usually look better than most, but his one also pushes performance. I....
