Hello friends I want to Shift to Computinghost And want to know that Can they arrange for Shifting from Astahost server? As my database is very big My computer gets hang whenever i try to shift servers,So Can computinghost Shift my site from astahost?

I recommend that you dump your database and re-upload your files. Shifting between servers can get you to problems in future. I can however, arrange for same username on the new server, so that transfering is not a problem for you and your scripts work fine there.

I create my host with my walhez.com (http://whois.domaintools.com/walhez.com) dominion but whatever
creates my account in xisto my dominion was not redirected to dns of Astahost (ns1.Astahost.com and
ns2.Astahost.com), if not that to dns temporary that it had assigned those to him that sold my
dominion to me. And my account I create with those dns: | NameServer1: ns14.emovile.com |
NameServer2: ns13.emovile.com I have put him dns of Astahost, but even so not redirected to me,
already believe that the problem is in the account mine of xisto, Because talvez some administr....

when I use my credits for the 30 cred site will I be able to see the stats on my site eg, number of
visitors, page loads, hits... on some sites you can't so I was just wondering if you can on

I have searched around for a new web host and will trim my options down to Computing Host (since it
was recommended by one of the Mods here) and 1AND1. I want to use 1AND1 because of all that space
they give me (I know...all that space will probably not be used, but I want to have it anyway since
it's part of the package /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0"
alt="tongue.gif" />). But the thing I don't like is that they don't have SSI support for the

I got this message when I tried to make my account for hosting today: There were problems creating
your account! Please Contact Administrator. And then it printed out this info: The /usr, /, or
/var partition on this server is running out of disk space. This WHM operation has been temporarily
suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files
not in use on that partition. Not sure what to do, thanks in advance for the help.....

Trap17 Info Wanted

I am having a hard time keeping up my posts here at Astahost. I think it is a little more advanced
than I am. From what I gather, Trap17 is less technical in nature. When I went to the websites for
Asta and Trap, they were essentially the same except for maybe bandwidth and MB. Is that info
up-to-date? Is it possible to switch a hosted Astahost account to a Trap17 account without having
to go through all the 'post until you have enough credits' thing again?....

I was going tru the hosting package details of astahost, I had seen this earlie before i joined in,
but it almost slipped my mind. There are 2 packages : INDIVIDUAL PACKAGE GROUP PACKAGE ( 15 per

directions say to use username.astahost.com for your subdomain if you want one. However, the little
popup box that's supposed to tell you wiether or not it's a domain said "That does not
appear to be a Trap17 subdomain". I figured I would try it anyway, since the step-by-step guide ....

i have created the webhost and i notice that inside the host there are many files and folders which
were created by default like mail,tmp, public_ftp etc. my question is can all these folders be
deleted? Another question is where should i upload the files to, i mean which folder so that when i
type www.zion.astahost.com, it will show my webpage. and also what must i name my index page as?....
