I terminated it a few days ago because I wanted to be still semi-active at the forums, but not hosting at astahost. After a few days, the forums still showed at I was hosted. I tried terminating again but it failed. |

I have run into the same thing at Trap17. Its nothing to worry about it will just keep going negative but you will ofc still be able to post on the forums and the shoutbox. I guess if you deleted your forum account totally..then waited a few hours then sign up again and (dont quote me on this cos I dont know if it allows the same username as a previous user) then you should be back but without the hosted status.

I'm sorry. When the termination script is executed it is suppose to connect to the forum database and change your member status from [HOSTED] to Members. The new version from 2.1.4 and higher is not allowing external scripts from modifying remotely. Your status has been corrected. Thanks for your patience. Topic resolved. Problem with Purchase Credits Page (7) I was trying to checkout the Purchase Credits section, today, and found a dead end to 404.

Blocked From My Own Account
HELP! (12) Ok this is really strange. I am blocked from accessing my own site and cPanel. When I go to
http://portal.trap17.com/ or http://portal.trap17.com/cpanel/ , it can't connect to the
server. I tried it at school, both cPanel and main site, and it works fine. Initially I thought it
was because I installed ZoneAlarm on my computer so it blocked me but I tried disabling everything
and it still won't connect. I used an insecure web proxy server to connect to be cPanel (really

Hosting Not Coming Back
(7) I was inactive for a few days and had negative credit. Then, I came back and posted until I had 11
credits, which should have allowed my site to go back up automatically. Unfortunately, this is not

Did My Account Get Hacked Into?
Some suspicious issues!!! (17) Ok first of all I had this issue of my cPanel/FTP password not working:

didn't change any settings of user authentication, etc. So then I reset my password using the
forum thing under "Free Web Hosting". It supposedly "failed", so I didn't use 10 credits. When I
accessed my FTP account to upload some PHP files that I corrected, I found this new directory/file
under my public_html folder: /9xYenBai.Com/UploadMusic/Honey.wma So I raised security, went to
that website....

Cannot Send Email After Account Upgrade
Outgoing mail broken after upgrade to paid account (3) I just upgraded mistymanor.astahost.com to a paid account. Since the upgrade, outgoing mail is not
working. Specifically, for mistymanor.astahost.com, using mail.mistymanor.astahost.com with
eric@mistymanor.astahost.com as the username, 587 for the port number, and the appropriate password,
sending mail from Apple Mail on OS X 10.4.8 fails. This account worked prior to the changeover.
Incoming mail still works. I have tried using "mistymanor.astahost.com" (dropping the "mail.") as
the mail server. I have tried with/without SSL. I have tried sending the message with Squ....

Re-Activating My Account
(4) I am sorry to say this, but I will have to terminate my Astahost account in four days. I have been
messing with domain names and it all got ****** up, so I have to terminate it and then apply again.
I know it sounds weird, but that is the only solution. Tomorrow I am going on a three-day trip, and
