Does anyone else own Halo for the PC? What about Halo Custom Edition? Both have awesome multiplayer features! For example, Halo for the PC has Rocket Warthogs, Fuel Rod Guns, and Flamethrowers. Halo Custom Edition, after making with Halo Editing Kit, has custom maps, weapons, and vehicles! Also, I'm trying to set up a small clan, the Hybrid Elites [HE], so if you are ever online, look for a game titled [HE] Hybrid Elites - Tryouts. Here are some nice modifications that I found. They usually involve patch (.ppf) files, so I hope you are computer literate and have the correct applications for applying them.  Halo for the PC:Attention! Any patches that are made to files used on both Single Player and Multiplayer (E.G. sounds.map, bitmaps.map, etc.) may create weird textures and incorrect backgrounds on certain objects. Backup your .map files BEFORE you edit them!-The Library for Multiplayer by MonoxideC [Includes Nuke Rocket Launcher] -Assault on the Control Room (AotCR) for Multiplayer by MonoxideC [Includes driveable Pelicans and Wraiths] -Halo 2 Mod by NiTrOuSoXiDe [Mods too numerous] All you should have to do it go to Google (http://google.com) and search for these and you should find something of relavance.

You can probably check out Wal-Mart or some specialty shop. (Found mine at Gamestop.) Only problem would be video card configurations. It's quite difficult to find the design that works best with your computer and video card. Either way, happy hunting.

My advice GET A CONSOLE 4 this game !! pc version is patethic !! This is the perfect example of a GOOD game going BAD because of s****i portation  Originaly the game should have been great but... they didn't make severeal gammes in paralel for every platform so they'r paying the price !!! well so do we  (

Ok, yeah, the original version on its own, sucks. You mod the crap out of it like I did? Kicks a**! Not to mention tweaking DirectX.  Either way, if you can fix those "Exception!" errors, tell me and I'll duel you guys.

Um, no, glitches are not cool. That's why you run DxDiag tool and optimize your comp with tweak tools (and mod files if needed).  Either way, online is a lot better ( and more secure!) than console playing (speaking from experience with hackers.  ).

Hex modding the map files of Halo is awesome; the gun combinations you can get are absolutely insane. Try modding to shotgun so that instead of shooting out pellets, it shoots out tank shells or plasma cannons. The result is a gun with so much power that with one shot you can shoot a Warthog from one base in Blood Gulch all the way over to the other.

Since you apparently know more about the syntax of that than I, perhaps you could elaborate on that? The best I've gotten out of a shotgun is a Grenade Launcher. Will only hold 3 rounds and there's a 3 second delay after firing before the frags it launches explode. Appreciate it.

HALO TRIAL Okay the halo trial for the pc is ok but the problem is that everyone has mods The mods get boring.Don't get me wrong ,theyre cool and all, but just stop the mods for a bit.Except for the ghosts and tank mod... That ones cool -reply by THE DEFENCE

I have got halo for the pc, though I wanted to get halo 2 but its only available for Vista. Hopefully they will release Halo 3 for the pc, and soon. Does anyone play halo for the pc online? Its free

I have Halo for the PC, I ot out of it when I started playing Counter Strike: Source and other great FPS games. It got a little old of specially how msny people used aimbots because the only cheat detection system they had just banned you from the server instead of the whole game, and it didn't even do a good job doing that.

In my opiniion the perfect video card would be ATI Radeon 7200-specs are 64mb,dual cam projecters and perfect for halo PC. go to tiger direct or www.powerone.ca nad youll find some good used ones(most reliable) :D -joshott

Halo 3 Beta
(12) It's great to have the beta! The graphics and physics are great in the new Halo 3 Beta. The
graphics are NOT the same as Halo 2 as some cows (Ps3 fanboys) have said. Maps are a lot bigger and

These are tips for Halo 2. (11) These are some tips I picked up. Some may be old hat, some may be new. I'm not sure who reads
this, so I put some important things I use all the time. 1. Jump punch. Always remember that a
melee in midair does more damage than a melee when you are stationary. 2. Fast melee. To melee
faster than normal: punch, switch weapons, then punch, etc. It punches much faster. You can also
punch, tap x, punch. 3. Block PP shot. To block a plasma pistol shot, dual wield. When a plasma
shot nears you, punch. The shot will hit the gun that you throw away, not you. Prac....

matches on weird places, such as ivory tower, lockout, midship (Oh, God!), Beaver Creek, and any

near your target. Fire, then quickly snap the reticule over the target's head (or body).

Favorite Dual-Wielding combo and why? (17) What's your favorite dual wielding combo and why? Mines have to the Plasma Rifle and the SMG
because you can easily find these two weapons in almost any map and the plasma rifle takes down your
enemies shield quickly and the smg is great for killing after the shield is down. What your's?....

Halo 1 Lan Gametypes
(2) Hey, I get together with a bunch of friends and we battle it out over a lan playing halo1 alot
(I've tried to upgrade them to halo2, but most don't have xboxs and to change after getting
used to halo1 is too much of a hassle =/) we play alot of ctf, rockets only and slayer/team slayer
stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions for gametypes to play with a group of 6 or more people?
(maps that correspond to the game types'd be good too =D )....
What Hl2 Mod Are You Waiting For

mods coming out, these are the ones that I found to be most intresting, if you found more you can
post what you find, all of HL2 mods are going to be good, or atleaced fun for a little while. And
the ones that actually get past the beta, or just get to the beta and don't die out are the mods
that will make many many people laugh, cry, get angry and hit their computres into because someone
has a speed hack or a auto aim prog. This is killer008r with another fasinatin....

Rumors of Halo 3 coming out soon... (45) For those of you who have played and beaten Halo 2 on Legendary, and watched the credits, have you
noticed that at the end of the credits it says "Coming Feb. 2005" ? My friend and I were disscussing
