There are alot of freeware programs that perform even as well as Paint Shop Pro 9 and I would highly recommend Paint.NET 2.0 or GIMP 2.2 but you can try out others from here: http://www.download.com/3150-2192_4-0-1-0....=49&dlsize=&ca=And of course, there are many other ways but if you get caught of whatsoever, I won't take the blame. My cousin downloads trial versions of shareware and get keygens or even cracks for them but I, an honest Boy Scout will stick to freeware

Try Download.com and search for free design programs. That may be a good place to start. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Well, if you can get the money, somehow, I really recommend Macromedia Fireworks. It is very user friendly and has a ton of tools. Just don't use freehand. I got a book on it and still can't figure it out. Hmm... Also, psp and photoshop work.

Adobe Photoshop is very expensive, and most people don't want to spend that much money on a single program but if you are willing to spend some money you should try PaintShop Pro, which (i think) is made by Windows. It's very similar to Photoshop and a lot of people use it.

http://macromedia.com Flash/fireworls http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/download.html Graphics Gale Those are some good ones I recommend, if you are good at spriting or hand computer drawing, I suggest Graphics-Gale. If you can't draw and want things easily, get Flash or Fireowrks. You can get a trial, but then after you have to buy it, and it's expensive.

She/He said they dont have money... why are you suggesting stuff when they dont have money for those stuff...??? yeah.. I'm sure you already checked it out but the PaintShop Pro shareware should be okay for you.. since you are not too advance... than you would use photoshop... Honestly... I use my Paint on windows... haha... are you editing photos or are you doing 3d text and stuff? there are many free programs out there for specific purpose.. go search on yahoo.com...

Paint.NET is the way to go if you want a good compromise between GIMP's power and Paint Shop Pro's elegant interface. CNET claims that it is just for basic cropping, color adjustment, etc., but in the right hands you can create amazing graphics with it, Photoshop-style. But if you are looking for a powerhouse, get the GIMP. Unfortunately, it is very hard to master it's interface overnight, and it's not a good idea to try (sleep deprivation )
