Using My Ftp - what username and password should i use

i don't know how to log into my ftp account.

I have tried several passwords, the one the inicially gave me.. but the a i change my password.. i used that one.. that didn't work either

then i tried creating an account with the sma euseranme they gave me and using the password i selected... that didn't work either.. help me!!!

ftp host: ftp.yoursite.astahost.com
username: your cpanel username
password: your cpanel password

if you create an ftp username in cPanel, then you have to login as username@yoursite.astahost.com

eg. my site is stickboarder.info. If i add a FTP user called 'bob' then I would have to use the following login details:
host: ftp.stickboarder.info
username: bob@stickboarder.info
password: the password i chose

    ok, apparently i changed my password. usually i use a rotation of about 4 passwords on sites that
    requite me to login.i exceeded my bandwith by my suprise quite fast last period, so i hadn't
    logged into the control panel in some time. the password was saved, but my firefox browser crashed
    and i lost all bookmarks and cookies. at first when i tried to log into my cpanel i tried the
    password pmmed to me. it did not work. i tried the other common passwords that i use, and they did
    not seem to work. i was going to login to make some updates and now i cannot, due to there....
