Server With Quest?
(7) I am currently trying to make a server off of my home computer, but I can't get it to work at
all. I have a quest modem and a windows XP computer (which also has Linux and it doesn't even
work with Linux). I can access my server with localhost: just fine but when I try through my router
(for now I will just call it 192.168.0.1) I cannot connect to my server using 192.168.0.1: . My port
is not 80 so that’s not the problem. How would I need to configure my modem so when an
incoming address is read the modem sends the request to a switch then to my computer? ....

need some software to go please (9) I have this bunch of computers at home with users; my wife, my kids and one on the garage and my
laptop with two of my desktop with different uses. I was wondering if theres a remote desktop
software out there that I could use on my local network the has the same functionality as Windows
Remote Desktop. One thing that I dont like about Windows Remote desktop is that i need to supply

G G+ N (4) So in my house at the moment, my modem is running into a Belkin G+ router. We have a 2 story house
and I sleep upstairs. My sister is also upstairs and her laptop picks up the internet... Just.
I'm getting a new computer soon in my room and I want Wireless-N. I know wireless-N has more
range/speed than G, but does this depend on the router? For example, will I be able to have
faster/more stable internet than my sister because of the wireless-N card, or will I have to upgrade

Apache Server On Xampp
Problems in starting Apache service on xampp (18) Hi... I downloaded and installed the newest version of xampp. But when i try to start the
Apache service it does not get started. The MySql and FileZilla services start without any problem.
But the Apache service does not start. It returns with a message saying Apache service not started

Remote Desktop Connection Question
(10) Is there some way that I can use remote desktop without it locking the user's screen? As if
i'm trying to troubleshoot a problem over the network i want them to be able to see what i'm
doing to their machine so they can learn, but I can't figure out how to do it. I don't need
it to have dual keyboard and mouse input, I just need the monitor on their end to be enabled as well
as mine. Possibly a third-party program is available for this?....

(16) Hey, Here's a weird problem I've encountered. On my test server running CentOS and Apache2
w/ the Apache2 Manual installed and accessible from the web, everything seems fine. So I access it
via my home network on which the server is located and the manual loads like I'm on a 56K

Living Room PC Getting Low To No Wireless Signal
(14) For some reason my new custom built PC get low to no wireless internet signal in the living room.
My sister says that she gets a lot of disconnects (last time I asked, about 10 disconnects

Help, I Can't Make A Server For Teamspeak, Cs, Etc
I need help on getting these games work (8) Ok here's the thing, I'm trying to make a server on counter strike, team speak, warcraft 3,
etc. but it doesn't work. No one can join it. I tried opening all the right ports on my
ROUTER, and port triggering my warcraft 3, but to no avail. Can someone please help me fix my
problem? It's quite annoying and I really really want to play 1v1 against my friends. My
friends also can't make it for some reason, and they tried everything that I did too before.
