I dont have much experience in these "free" domain names but I have had about 4 or 5 different .co.nr domain names over the last 4 years orso.. I have never had a problem with the sign in to make a new name..any adverts or popups aprearing on my sites. They ask you for a link back to them and supply you with a small gif 88X31 for your "first" page of the site.. I have been using a page as the Index with a welcome banner for the site and the small gif at the bottom of the page that you have to scroll to see and they seem happy with that..so the link is no where on your site apart from the Welcome screen...seems fair enough to me!! I would take a look and register your name at .co.nr ..hey if you dont use it you can just point ppl to a different link to get to your site if you dont have your own domain name registered..

as far as i know.. http://www.domain-4free.com offers free names... but they do have annoying ads... Further more... they will first create a domain like "yourname.page.tl" an you must recieve atleast 30 unique hits a day to qualify!

With my browser I cannot see the test page www.dotworlds.usa , so people with the same browser will not see my domain mybame.myextension. And I cannot decently ask everybody who wants to see my site to download the dotWORLDS plugin. If I want to be the only guy able to go to my website, I put it on my own PC, no need to put it on Inernet.

I would say go with www.freedomain.co.nr, dot.tk offer email forwarding but their website and control panel isn't very helpful. At least .co.nr don't sound that abd and are slightly easier to remember.

subdomains asigned to other server? I have host (my friend is the owner of the server) and he bought
for me an domain and connected to his dns server this domain. I have also other server and I want to
connect subdomain to my second server - what I have to do? I have to tell my frend to do something,
or I just have to add in some way (I don't know how to do it) dns servers names or IP adresses

free site is .de.vu This is a german site, though if you understand a little bit of german, you can
