| | That is GREAT, I just posted about lots of firefox tweeks in this new section (don't know if its the right place...). Open source is 50 million times better than paid programmers software. You have to ask yourself the question: whats better? A room full of people paid to do what they are doing, or a world wide audience who are doing what they do cause they enjoy it? |

There are many reasons why people are switching over to Mozilla Firefox or other alternative web browsers and the main reason being the security of these browsers that seem to have less security vulnerabilities than IE but that will soon change as long as more users turn to such "safer" alternatives, attackers will soon follow suit so it isn't the amount of users downloading Firefox that worries me...it's the amount of attackers targeting it. Given Mozilla's status as an open source organisation, I trust that they will provide a swift response to these threats like what Microsoft did to get SP2.

I wonder how IceWeasel may affect the statistics on Firefox usage. At this point, I doubt that it would make much of an impact, but there is still the lingering concern that the Mozilla efforts are being fragmented. Remember the maxim where it says, I paraphrase, "United we stand. Divided we fall." If the non-Internet Explorer browser users continue to fragment themselves, then there will not be a true winner from this second browser war. Microsoft may still retain its lead and dominate the market. I am a Firefox (and occasionally, Opera) user, so you know whom I am rooting for.

Firefox 2 Has A Spell Check!
- Yea, it really does. (40)
You are probably thinking from the get go that this is something that I should be discussing in the
software forums, but honestly, it is something that I just discovered and its something new that I
just learned, so it fits right in here as well. At least, technically it does! Anyways, I loaded up
my Mozilla Firefox browser a few days back and an upgrade notice popped up. Normally, I don't
think I have enough time to deal with the download and installation part so I just close it down
without upgrading, but not today! Instead, I upgraded the browser and it took me...

Firefox 2, Beta 2

EDIT: My apologies, the title should be "firefox" not "firefo". The X key on my keyboard is tricky
and sometimes it takes a while for X to show up. My Firefox just upgraded to Beta 2 and since Beta
1, it has been greatly improved! A new theme has been made to replace the older default theme and it
comes with a new security feature where it checks sites you visit against possible known phishing
sites and will warn you. One bug I noticed is that it likes to decrease page font size (Ctrl+-) on
it's own sometimes. Also, another cool feature is that when you close ...
[important] Firefox Tip !

Ok .. well i am shure most of you here have a daily break with web-designing. And one problem I can
think of while doing this is that , When we hit the refresh button and want to see the changes made,
the browser : 1) Either takes time .. 2) Doesnt update the content Possible reason for this is
obviously Mr. Cache ! .. Saying this .. I bet most of you Delete the cache and try to access the
website again. But Sometimes it STILL doesnt update .. So here'z the alternative "Only FireFox"
lol .. I wouldent bother much with IE, but if anyone finds something like this p...

most people aren't going to bother until Movielink and the other involved parties (Sony studios
being just one of them) perfect the system. 1. The downloads cost pretty much the same as if you

depending on the age and popularity of the film you're buying online. 2....
