There is also a website that checks your whole site, if your html is correct. Check here: http://validator.w3.org/. Mark Btw, www.astahost.com got 69 errors

Well the dead link search does not include the links which are in images, when using imagemaps.. also if there are custom errors it will be valid, unless you will send a header of 404 Not Found and the validator  well you got off topic, but oh well some errors on the astahost really could be edited, but some are just can't be fixed to the standarts, but it is better if you do valid html and etc.

I use Xenu's Link Sleuth. No only does it find all the broken links but you can configure any links that you don't want it to include. Then, it will build a complete report for you that you can save. This is a great help if you have a site with many links on it. The program is free and can be found here: Xenu

Thanks for sharing with us this tool, its very helpful. BTW there is another tool that i think will be helpful for any webmaster, its name is Reciprocal Link Checker and is a beta version, yet doesn't follow links inside frames, javascript, flash or going through server script, but for an initial analisys is ok. best regards,

If you design your websites in DreamWeaver, it can offer to do a proper thorough test of your site, and at the same time, provide you with the steps to clear the dead link, much worth the price if you can afford even the old MX version.

I once found a code that you entered in the address bar & when you went on it every dead link you clicked it showed & pop up saying it was a dead link it was really handy! Another way to do this is type in "link=dead-site=1" if this does not work i cant remember the code!

Website Navigation Hover Buttons Stick So Made Css Today
need further help with tutorial from this site (7) Hi I made hover buttons to go into my friends website because frontpage didn't allow the text on
their buttons to be left aligned. Anyway, I think they stick a lot and i'm not happy with them.
I have read a lot of people don't like the time it takes for java applets to load either so
thought I should try doing the navigation buttons with the CSS shown on this site. I was so happy
when after following the instruction my buttons turned out fine but the probem is that they have a
solid border around each button and i want my nav bar to look like it's under....
Stretching My Site Vertically

How Do I Keep A Background On My Site
(14) I had a background on my site that i got on the internet. I don't remember the name of the site
but from it I was able to save the background (which was a textured blue background) to
photobucket.com. I've had it there for awhile, but now, all-of-the-sudden it disappeared. I
guess you can only keep things on photobucket for so long. But how do I keep a background on my
site if I can't host it somewhere? Is there a way to put the picture in cPanel and use it from
there? If there is, I cant figure it out.....

working on: Go Back The problem is that the css doesn't affect the javascript link. It
