I have been using FireFox for some time now and there are a lot of useful extensions for the browser but I fond a lot of useless one also. Which extensions do you like?
My favorite are: * Yahoo! Toolbar [Mozilla version of Yahoo! Toolbar] * eWebMail Color and Graphics [Enables Color and Graphics for Yahoo! mail, Hotmail, and others] * Tabbrowser Preferences [Enhanced control over tabbed browsing] * Web Developer [Adds a menu and toolbar with various web developer tools] |

Mine are Googlebar, Tabbrowser Preferences and ChromEdit. Actually, they are the only extensions I have on this Firefox right now. The FirefoxView and ieview extensions are quite handy too, as they allow some integration between IE and Firefox. The good thing about Firefox is that it has lots of extensions for download!

Take a look at the Flash Blocker... It eliminates those annoying and fat advertisements made in Flash. And it allows you to manually start the Flash files that are really part of a web design, or the Flash files that are mini-games. Recommended for those that are not blessed with a broadband connection to the i'net...

I find the many Firefox extensions coded by the fanatic Firefox users from around the world very useful. It really has made me more productive in front of the computer. My favourite extensions are: Furl - this extension allows you to "furl" any page, ie save any page you like on the free and super useful service http://www.furl.netJustBlogThis! - one touch access to blogging. Works with Blogger, Xanga, Movable Type, etc. del.icio.us - add bookmarks to the popular del.icio.us bookmarks manager with one click. Livelines - allows me to add news and RSS feeds easily to my Bloglines account Gmail Notifier - check my Gmail inbox every other 5 minutes for new emails.

My favorite Firefox extention is adblock. This extention can block whatever i don;t want to see. It is great, since i am still using 56k dial up internet connection, I can block flash, large image, and adv. to improve the speed of loading the web page. Second favorite Firefox extention is Tabbrowser Extension. I can totally get control of tabs. The undo closed tab and save session feature is fantastic. Bookmarks Synchronizer is another must have firefox extension. It allow me to have a same bookmark in every computer, even the computer in school.

It comes with the Noia 2 Extreme theme (I think thats how you spell it), I've got it on Firefox, and its really cool. My favourite Firefox extensions have to be: - Fire FTP - An FTP plugin for Firefox, works really well!
- Foxytunes - Controls your favourite media player (which in my case is JetAudio) through Firefox

I have just downloaded this new extention called Adblock (which is now going to be one of my favorites) which allows you to block ads that you don't want to see from any website. It is very simple but effective way to block banner ads or images that you may not want to see.

Here's my list: - Adblock for one
- Web-developer: whole page design concept has changed ever since I've had it.. it's ultra awesome
- FireFTP - gone are the days of crappy browser based FTP
 - CookieCuller - which lets me protect cookies like that of astahost/trap17 and wipe out all the rest at the flick of a button
- Google Pagerank
- Google Preview - which provides thumshots of google search pages
- ColorZilla - this one is extremely handy - tells you the color of any part of the page in a multiple variety of formats along with RGB breakdown.
- Foxytunes - control Winamp/any common media player straight from the status bar.
- ShowIP - shows IP of current page in status bar
- Image Toolbar - which provides you with a hovering IE like Image save toolbar.. no more right-click, Save
 - BBCode - Forum posting is incomplete without this one. Makes posting a breeze
- Last but not the least - couldn't live without this one AT ALL - FlashGot ... redirects all your downloads to your fav. download manager, even for the redirection links that your down. manager is incapable of catching upon click

Wheeeee... that's my list - currently all on my supercharged firefox..

- Adblock -- I can never deny the greatness of this extension with Filterset.g. I haven't seen any ads in ages. And of course if I feel like supporting whoever's website I switch to IETab and click on their ads. That's one of the problems with Adblock--it's quite hard to undo and redo once an ad has been blocked. - FireFTP ---- I use this all the time for uploading files; it seems quite comprehensive. - Nightly Tester Tools ----Though I'm not exactly a nightly tester, I do keep up to date with Firefox's beta versions, so many extensions are often incompatitable that I desperately need. So with Nightly Tester Tools I can force the compatibility. Whether or not that causes problems with Firefox, I don't know. All I care about is that I get more usability out of Firefox. - Web Developer ---- I suppose my favorite part of this extension is the ruler. It's nice to be able to measure things on the screen without having to guess. Though MeasureIt accomplishes the same task, Web Developer has a whole bunch of other useful things, like outlining divs and table elements, and editing the css, html, etc and having it show up directly. - Gmail Manager ---- It allows me to check multiple Gmail accounts, which is useful. Moreover, I never actually have to login anymore--just one click on the Gmail manager and I'm lead to my account already logged in. - Google Notebook ---- It's quite useful for just jotting down pieces of info that you think you'll need. I often use it to jot down php code that I use once or twice but believe I'll need for later projects. Or just random humor that I liked but didn't have time to read at the moment. - Platypus ---- Deleting stuff is quite easy with this extension. Takes about a second to delete and save any section of the page. The only problem is that, unlike Adblock, the objects still appear initially while loading and then take a while before they completely disappear. - FoxyProxy ---- This is very useful while I'm at school and need access to blocked websites. My school apparently doesn't block downloading Firefox extensions, so I just use FoxyProxy to access them. =) It's not very useful at home though; it's more like an extra extension taking up room. - IE Tab ---- Though I had initially expected something different from this (aka an extension that stimulated the IE browser but didn't just load the IE browser within Firefox. I thought maybe it'd be able to stimulate IE7, IE6, 5, 4 etc. Unfortunately, it just loads whichever IE you have on your computer). Nonetheless, it still turned out to be quite useful. Everytime I come across a site that doesn't seem to function properly in Firefox (so far there's only been one, and that's the Windows Update site), I load it in IE. And every time I develop a website, IE Tab is used very very often to test things. - Resizeable Form Fields ---- I suppose I could say this is more amusement than anything else, but sometimes it does prove to be useful. Like sometimes I don't like the way the webmaster had kept the form fields so small/large and wish to stretch/shrink it. Resizeable form fields are heaven then. However, I just realized it doesn't work on Ajaxified form fields (it doesn't work for those in Gmail or Writely)

Is that on the FireFox site? That extension could be handy, iv'e always wondered how to download those instead of having to re-stream them all the time so I can show other people. If you have a direct link that would be great too.

IE6 Triumphs Over Firefox 1.5.0.3

rundown: When events occur on text boxes and some other input types, or certain functions like

handling a keypress event from a textbox and calling an alert, an exception is thrown. The message:....
