I'm wondering if Mandrake 9.2 with X can be used on slow machine like: Pentium 350, 64mb ram,
2mb graphic card. I don't want to install any servers (ssh maybe)....

Hi all, Am my way to purchase a new laptop, bu tin between i had a doubt either to go for a new

I like to share our broadband modem and access Internet from the second computer. The 2 computers
are not connected to each other. I am considering setting up a network of these 2 computers using a
wireless access point and 2 wireless network cards. I assume the access point and the braodband
modem will be attached to one of the computers and the other computer will be able to access
Internet through the access point. Is there any other way of sharing the modem eg. using adapters/
extensions, like sharing the telephone line? ...

Hello All, I have what may be a strange question... hopefully the answer/fix isn't as strange.
*grin* I have a home network. Works fine. Main computer hardwired, daugher's computer via
Wireless. They work fine together. I also have been provided a Laptop from work. I'm able to

For the past month or so my computer seems to be much slower than usual, even when running through
tabs on FireFox or when MSN notifications come through they seem a tad laggy. Playing Gunz the

I was trying to get a good browser that supported both my programs and my alignment for my website.
I downloaded ALL of the big ones. Opera, IE explorer 7, Firefox, netscape and msn (lol I wasn't
getting lucky). Though I havent gone in debth I have rated them as follows: First: Opera Opera has
some features none of the rest have including mouse actions. It support both IE explorer made pages
